I am dancing to some old songs. Some before my time. Some love songs. Everything seemed so simple then. I know it wasn't. But those feelings that those songs conjure up! Where did they go?
When I read the boards here, I see so many complaints. People who are bored, dissatisfied. They claim to be in a loving relationship and yet? Their other half ignores them or doesn't give them any sex.
Where is the sunshine, lollipops and rainbows? That's what I'm all about. I want to spread love to everyone! Hugs all around!
I want to wake up every day and greet the world with a smile. See what joy the day brings.
I'm not in a relationship now. Yes, I had a failed marriage from the git go but a lot of that had to do with him dropping the ball and acting like a bachelor from the minute we said our vows on. I did try. And then I too dropped out.
Onward and upward! I don't *need* a relationship. Not like that anyway. I'm fine by myself. Sure, it would be nice to have someone who adds to my life and I know it *will* happen. But in the meantime, I do what I can to enhance people's lives.
It just seems to me that these days so many people are far too focused on themselves and what they are lacking. Or maybe I'm just rambling. I am hopped up on iced tea.
Thoughts?
