"Me no,I am from out of town as well."I told her. Why lie? There was nothing to be gained by it and besides it set up my next line perfectly. "Hmm you know what they say about that don't you? What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." I laughed sort of passing it off as a joke, but I let my eyes travel all over her body letting her know that it was only half a joke.
I had grabbed her cell phone from her bag and while I was guiding her to the elevator I checked it for messages determined to erase any from James before she read them. I was actually surprised when there weren't any. My god this guy was really a self centered jerk. I slipped it back into her bag as the elevator arrived and once we were in and the doors had closed I smiled at her.
"Okay this is where I loose you I guess. You check your phone, find a message from James and rush back to him. Well I guess no hanging out in my room," I sighed melodramatically.
