Military troops are there only to provide security for federal law enforcement and federal assets while ICE remove criminal illegal migrants. Troops aren’t there to fix Portland.

Authoritarians don't have to break the law to be authoritarian.

Using emergency powers to sidestep.norms and checks on power.

We have a number of emergencies that are based on bullshit to expand powers...all legal....all authoritarian.

Tariffs, border constraints, troops expansion into domestic matters....all an abuse of power...all legal.

You can agree with it as you want...none of it is normal. All of it is autocratic.
