The first story is about a husband who catches/discovers that his wife cheated on him. They go to therapy or marriage counselling afterward. During one of the therapy sessions, the husband points out that his wife never actually said she was sorry. Later in the story, I think he ends up with a childhood friend.
The second story, is about a husband finding out that his wife is cheating on him with his best friend. There is also a wider friend-group element where his friends and their wives are sleeping with each other including the wife (swinging?), but he is the one left out or excluded.
