*cough* ANGELIC NATURE? ROFLMAO

You know if you're trying to kill me, their's more humane ways than dying of laughter. A spew alert is always welcome.

Laughter is a good thing. There are more than a few ways to increase the endorphin level. A good laugh at sarcastic humor can be one of them.

I lurk in shadows, influencing only by whisper.

I believe you actually lurk in your pubescent years, so full of yourself that you cannot keep yourself at a whisper. You must shout "Look at me! LOOK AT ME!"

I think she may have been suggesting you have a really big ego, and aren't capable of influencing by whisper -- her analogy brings to mind the little kid on the diving board going "Look dad! Look dad! Look dad!" .....

But it's early, for me, and I have a headache, so I may be totally misinterpreting it.... besides, I rather like your ego, so there. :p

These comments are not directed at you, jadefirefly.

Oh, puh...leeease.

If there is a 23-year-old guy who looks like Marquis and doesn't have a big ego, I can't imagine where he lives!

In addition, in this particular case, there's plenty of respect for others to balance the cockiness.

And... oh.... btw..... just a general observation of a curious phenomenon here, but.... Has anyone ever noticed that the type of person who says someone needs to grow up is usually the type of person who needs to grow up themselves?

I love you, Alice. You always say just the right thing. :D
Oh, thank you, Miss Firefly..... but I assure you I have my moments like anyone else.

I love you, too, btw.... :rose:

You know what they say about generalizations.... However, rosco thinks you're alright, so I'll let his judgment be mine at this point.

Myst -

I don't recognize you, so I'm going to begin by letting you know there is no sarcasm whatsoever in this post.

First, I do think your shot at Marquis was off the mark. But that's just my opinion.

Second, regarding this:

Yes, I do. And I am also aware that the implied insult in my "grey" comment rendered the observation quite hypocritical and, in fact, threw the insult right back in my face.

I assume that's why Graceanne giggled. That's also why I wrote "I have my moments like anyone else" in response to Miss Firefly's grin.

In other words, I was trying to make a point - but laughing at myself at the same time.

Finally, regarding this:

A most sincere thank you to you, Myst, for not jumping all over me. And a most sincere (and surprised) thank you to Mr. Rathbone as well.

Alice

Believe me, it was my only shot and it was a long time coming, thus far. I do know of some pretty hot young men who are not full of themselves, and I'd be happy to introduce you. Rare treasures they are indeed, but when you find one (or a few), you realize how foolish the rest look.

Please note: I am an older, horny woman whose SO is miles away and I think about sex 99.8% of the time. With that in mind....

Is there any possibility that Marquis dick is the size of his ego?

If it is,
do you think if I book my flight over there he would love to learn some new things with an older slave.
I talk alot but if its that big I may struggle to speak with my mouth full ;)

Alright, so the MySpace BDSM forum I earlier mentioned appears to have been deleted.

There are others out there, but they seem lame to the maximum. I have decided it is upon The Marquis to bring BDSM to the Gen Y dominated MySpace, and rightfully claim my position as their leader, Lord and Master of all kinksters below..... say 25 or so.

Obviously, all of you are invited and in fact encouraged to participate. But before the annexation of the impressionable young minds can begin, we need a name.

"BDSM" has been taken by an undeserving group of lollywags that couldn't keep a lively discussion going the day after a national tragedy. The previous group was named Bondage and Domination. There are femme domme specific groups and I think some centered around specific areas of play. I am looking to create a ubiquitous BDSM group for kinksters of all ages, creeds and philosophies.

What say you?

I have considered calling it Charenton, after the mental hospital within which the Marquis DeSade did much of his writing, but as I was about to register that name the hand of God plucked me up from my chair and shook me about the room like a wet puppy to remind me I am but a mere mortal and this hubris will be tolerated no longer.

When I came to, I wiped the blood away from the corners of my mouth and typed this message. Then all of you gave excellent suggestions, one of which I either used directly or was responsible for the name by reason of inspiration.

I have finished this post in the future!

O.K., back to the main question here, what about pervsRus or something along that line? I don't consider myself to be perverted, rather perfect *actually, but the "R US" might be catchy.

* Note: we are all created in the image and likeness of G*D, so we are perfect therefor.

I don't think that today, you get to use the moniker of "shy". I'm sorry but no. :p

Today? She's never shy. She's about as shy as a I am.

But then, you're not a firefly, either. *sigh*

Why for the *sigh*, Graceanne? Would you like it if I was a firefly? Am I dissappointing you?

I'll try harder to make my ass light up for you. :D

I just wanna see someone's ass glow bright yellow. It'd be cool. If we could make ourselves what our names are I'd be . . . unicorn, or pixie . . . hm. Well it'd be hard to decide what I'd be, but it'd be cool.

A long time coming?

I had no idea I was so juvenile. Allow me to retort.

You may find my response here.

I apologize for not having a more personal response, but considering I have no idea who you are and know nothing about you, this is the best I could come up with.

Have a merry day. :D

I'd love to join, but most of my team at work is signed up at myspace and while I admit to being bi on there, I'm not really comfortable with being THAT "out." So any of you that can find me on your own, yay, but no groupie today. Sorry.
