Help pictures as attachments in posts

I'm having trouble getting pics posted as attatchments. I've read the help thing on it, but I just can't get it to do it. It always tells me that it's invalid, or something like that.
Anyone know how I'm screwin' da pooch on this?

What exactly is the error message you're getting? Try it again, then copy and paste the error in your post so we can narrow it down.

There are limits on attachments. They can't:
-Exceed 800 width x 600 height (So, you can't have a 599 x 799 image vertical image).

-Exceed 2 MB in file size

-Be anything other than bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip

-Be uploaded twice on the forum (so you'd have to rename the image if you want to repost it)

-There's a limit on the size of the sum of the up to five attachments in a post as well, but I can't recall what it is right now. If you think this might be the problem, try posting fewer per post.

I just tried to upload a pic from my 'puter(as attatchment) and it showed in the post as a link. But doesn't show at all in the preview. Is that how it should be? If so, then I've started doing it right.(Not that I have a clue about what I'm doing diff. LOL) I acctually can't seem to get it to give me that same error as it was doing before.
Here's hoping this is good news.

Yes, it'll show as a link in the final product, like the pic I've attached to this post does.

Okey doke. I guess what I was doing wrong ain't bein' done wrong anymore. Thx for the assistance. Nice flower, BTW.
