just do a search on yahoo for avatars...those three in particular came from romany's avatars.....check out there are hundreds there

Go to the how to forum and search on the word Avatar and the Word Dolly. Either will turn up threads with links to avatar site.

Don't restrict yourself to avatar sites though

Any image on the web can be resized down to 150 pixels in it's longest dimension and less than 20Kb. That makes it an avatar.

Find a picture you like, resize it with a good photo-processing program and if you like the looks whenit's thumbnail size...

(Almost any thumbnail pic will work as an avatar.)

Viola, you have an avatar.

If you don't have a good photo-processing program, try iFanview. (There is a link in one of th threads on avatars.) It's freeware and very capable.

This one is striking. Very beautiful.

I attached the one I'm talking about in case you change it to something boring and ugly just to confuse people. (People tend to forget that the avatar changes on ALL of your posts so talking about them sometimes makes you look silly or confused.)
