Hepatitis C almost killed my brother ten years or so ago.... and the treatment came closer!

Now this.

Some of the medical research actually does some good!

Hepatitis C use to be a death sentence... it certainly changed my brothers life.

He for a time at least was a Deacon in his church!

I remember several people after confirming I was really talking about him, asking if the door slammed shut and locked behind him as he went in!

Her life has been prolonged by removing her cancerous liver and replacing it with a donor liver that is infected with Hep C. The idea is to then cure the hep c. But the virus itself only made helping her more difficult.

The cures for Hepatitis have changed a lot in the last few years. People that the original treatments were very bad on can even find treatment that doesn’t take a long time or have as many side effects.
Lots of new cures due to finding a way to stop the growth of new cells while having time to kill the bad ones.
