Tom listened to Jason go on about Eva, stealing glances at Karis as they ate, wondering what the night would bring. He even extended his leg a few times, caressing hers under the table.

Tom couldn't wait for dinner to be over, excited about what was going to happen next.

"So what are you doing tonight, Jason?" he asked, stealing a glance at Karis.

He got up from the table and helped clean up.

Returning the dirty dishes to the kitchen Tom cornered Karis and pinned her against the wall, kissing her deeply.

He kissed her quickly and then went to rejoin Jason, who had picked the perfect movie to pass the time. The both of them sat and watched it for hours, drinking several beers until the movie was over.

When Tom got up to go home, he felt dizzy.

"Crap! I don't think I can go anywhere!" he said, sitting back down.

"Not like this you can't!" Jason laughed. "Mom, can Tom crash in the guestroom?" he shouted.

Sure Jason and make sure he drinks a glass of water to help prevent hangover tomorrow.

She finished up her paperwork. She was getting back into modeling and already had several free agent shoots and contract offers lined up.

After being properly hydrated, Tom was ushered to the guestroom, where he was left by himself. He got out of his clothes as quickly as he could and then jumped into bed. Then he got out again with a groan and walked into the bathroom to rub some toothpaste with his finger on his teeth.

A couple of hours later Karis made her way from her office passing the guest room with a tap to the door.
