I think I manage to finish about every tenth story I start writing, so I know all about writers block, though for me it's usually just a bad excuse as the reason I rarely finish is not due to lack of inspiration but lack of eagerness to write an ending.



Well i for one definitely understand that! I've only finished one actual story out of the 13 i've tried to start. I do however have a compilation of poetry that i am still waffling on whether or not i want to publish lol. I don't think the world is ready for my caliber of uhmm....yeah who am i kidding lol, maybe one day i'll have the balls to try hahaha.

I'd love to read an excerpt of one of your writings Miss, if you are comfortable with it?

I've started more than that and finished more than that ;)
As for my poetry, I realized at an early age that I really suck at writing that :nana: I guess I can't be awesome at everything.

Sexual or non-sexual? And in Danish or English? :rolleyes:

Sexual, non-sexual, either one is fine by me! Lol, i'm a very sexual person and like to explore both that and other aspects in life :D not to mention reading someone's work is a great way to get to know someone so it's fine either way. I don't know Danish though (sadly) so it'd have to be in English if you have any. I haven't gotten to write much lately in the last 3 years, i'm in the Marines so they keep me pretty busy, and i lost the last one i started when deployed, 130 pages just *poof*...gone on the flight back, but that's life lol!

Although i must ask, how did you realize you suck at poetry? Yourself, or someone else? Remember, you are your worst critic.

Oh yes, somehow there's just nowhere in my town where it's possible to buy leather... And I don't really want to order it online as I want it somewhat soft, so it might take a while, Miss :eek:

And that is why one makes a back up... and an online back up of the back up...:rolleyes: (We've all been there, usually just a few pages though)

Myself :D I am my worst critic but I'm also aware when I do a good job ;) I might not have sucked but I wasn't much better than average which I wont settle for ;)

Yeah lol, if i'd had one with me i'd have definitely done that Miss :) bilingual IS great lol, i was raised speaking Vietnamese but i've only retained a little of it growing up in English speaking schools and such. (no i don't look Vietnamese at all i'm a mutt, part Viet/Irish/Scottish/and all Texan haha)

I wasn't raised bilingual, I decided to become it on my own. It's no more than ten years since I began learning English. Now I just have to perfect my German too and all will be good in the world :D

I hope you find it worth the short wait ;)

I'll go along with that lol, although what you may consider average many might think of as awesome ;) if i remember anything correctly from my reading...most of the greater poets didn't think they would be recognized.

Yadda yadda yadda... I know neither my Danish nor my English is good enough for any proper poetry - it's like asking a kid to write something breathtaking :rolleyes: ;)
 
:confused: i'm sorry, i hope i didn't cause any kind of offense, didn't mean to push. I like your story, it has a lot of depth and paints a picture powerfully in the readers mind. You write beautifully.

Sorry, sarcasm was my first thought, but i'm a softie, so i never can tell, and i hate pushing a topic (and honestly in retrospect it did feel like pushing even to me lol) And you're always welcome, i must say i think i'm going to be a regular to this thread, it's not every day (in my life at least) that you meet a beautiful woman that can write and has such confidence in her (goddess-like) beauty.

It might have been, but give me a little credit, with the exception of around Pen, I am actually able to use the "no"-word ;)
The part about actually having a brain seems unfortunately like a rare thing these days, I think intelligence might be out of fashion :eek: *Loses faith in mankind yet again*
