Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

Last night's debate could hardly have gone better for Donald Trump. And to put a cherry on top, it appears virtually certain Ben Carson will endorse him shortly. Trump momentum continues.

If you atually read what he said, it makes great sense

What I been saying for a decade

HOW CAN YOU TELL THE GOOD FROM TEH BAD?

It makes so much sense no sane person can.....THOUGH THEY WILL TRY TO PRETEND ITS HATE SPEECH......argue otherwise

One of the reasons we love him is cause he has CONVICTIONS and STICKS WITH IT!

Trump on His Islam-Hates-America Comment: ‘I Will Stick with Exactly What I Said’

Tonight Donald Trump declined the opportunity to walk back his comments yesterday that “Islam hates us.” “Did you mean all 1.6 billion Muslims?” CNN’s Jake Tapper asked.

“I mean a lot of them, I mean a lot of them,” Trump replied. “Do you want to clarify the comment at all?”

Trump said that while he’s been monitoring the controversy his comments created,

”I will stick with exactly what I said.”

The good news would be if elected he'll be the most moderate, least religious, least ideological Republican President since Eisenhower.

I'm surprised you said that, but I think you may be right.

Who the fuck knows what he is?
He's all over the board in crazy broad statements that change with the slightest breeze.
If he were elected, I think smarter people would finangle their way into his inner circle and use him as their puppet.
Much as what happened with Bush II, IMO.

Very impressive. They make a good team.

Carson is a great

The spee h showed him at his best

He isnt VP material

He was ahead in Iowa, till San Bern, when next terrorist attack happens, Trump in a landslide

Mid East cuntries are bashing him, they already fear the strong horse

They disrespect CuntClinton, even calling her by 1at name

It was always in the plan.

I think so.

Shock the electorate, then back down once you have their attention. But I wonder how he's going to get away from all the BS he spewed. The Dems are going to hammer him with charges of being a racist, a fascist, etc.

They're very good at destroying people.

Most Americans agree with his stance on Islam and illegals

What Facist?

You mean like Obama who wants to prosecute those that disagree on GW?

I'm not so sure, but you can count on them and the Russkies provoking the new president soon after the election.

What are you arguing with me about? They're already calling him a fascist.

It's weird, innit? Trump's only hard right on immigration and national security, and in both cases it's more populist machismo posing than actual substance. Other than that, most of his positions are pretty centrist. it's actually kind of refreshing to see how little the Republican base actually care about holier-than-thou conservative values.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my problem with Trump is not that he's an extremist. My problem is that he's a dipshit.

I've maintained all along, Cruz is scarier than Trump.

His antics have always made it hard to take him seriously. But he has few peers as both salesman and self promoter. His promise to not touch Social Security will endear him even more to the aging sector. And many realize that his shouting about walls and carpet bombing is just blustering theatrics. I still would bet against a victory, but that's why we hold an election.

I might have said Ford, who was the last Republican president of the era before the old Confederacy became the center of gravity in GOP politics. Pre-supply side, pre-religious right. Even Trump has made some overtures to these folks, more out of reflex than anything else.

But talking about Trump as a moderate or a conservative is beside the point. I don't think he has any sort of ideology, although I doubt he'd do anything as President that would endanger his wallet. My main issue with him is the sort of person he's proven himself to be. One look at who his most enthusiastic supporters are should send anyone with 1/100th of a brain running screaming in the opposite direction.

Trump has been a social liberal almost his entire life, and still is, for the most part. We might actually get universal health care, for example, if he's elected. He's been strongly in favor of it in the past, and if you can read between the lines he still is, in my opinion.
