Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

There are plenty of Republicans in Congress who haven't accomplished a damned thing.

That's why we put them there, to stop doing things that screw up the country. The less the federal regime does, the better.

In fact, we need to make Congress a "part time" body, have it meet for 6 months every two years, and only in special emergency sessions between that time.

Politicians are the problem, not the solution.

Trump is like all truly great people in history. He has a great side and a screwed up side. The difference is he doesn't know how to hide his screwed up side from the public.

What he has accomplished is truly amazing. He is the one who has truly made history this year, just an ordinary guy who wanted to bring positive change to the country runs for office and against all odds wins the nomination of a major party for President, all in the span of less than a year.

That is truly historic, unlike Hillary who is only where she is because of the man she was married to. Lots of countries that would not be considered by post-modern western feminists to be bastions of what they consider to be "women's rights" have had woman leaders who were married to former leaders or related to former leaders. Even Islamic countries have had woman leaders who were married or related to male leaders. We've had queens throughout history. Hillary has achieved NOTHING historic, she didn't do anything on her own. We wouldn't know who she is without Bill.

Trump said nothing about race. I'm getting sick of hearing that shit.

Why are you debating with these racist, race bating, obsessive white hating morons on here? They aren't interested in a fair give and take discussion. As President Trump would say, "they aren't nice people."

Not only that, but The Donald Doubled down and included Muslim judges, then tripled down and included women judges as well.

I wonder his his sister, the federal judge, feels about that last bit.

He's laid out his overt racism, religious bigotry, and misogyny for all to see.

I find it hard to believe you don't understand Trump's point. I think you don't want to understand it. Believe me, a lot of people do understand it.

Perhaps you think a Muslim judge should never be asked to recuse himself. Or a female judge should never be asked to recuse herself.

But only if they judge in his favor. Newt Gingrich is apparently unable to judge him "appropriately" either. So rich old white conservatives are out too.

Trump was honest enough to admit he would have no problem with Judge Curiel if he felt he was getting a fair shake from him.

If Donald Trump really becomes USA President, TTIP with Europe will crumble apart. From the point of wiev of European citizens: Hooray for Trump.

Yet he's taken zero steps to have the judge removed from the case. Odd.

That's obviously coming. Getting lawyers to take that step is the problem. It's something they don't like to do, for self serving reasons.

Trump's lawyers know that his assertions of racial bias by Judge Curiel are completely without merit.

If there were a shred of evidence to support the claims then Trump's lawyers would be bound by ethics to report it and file a motion for the judge to recuse himself and to have the case moved to another judge. To fail to do so, even if their client expressly told them not to, would be an ethics violation on their part.

Trump's lawyers have, in fact, praised Judge Curiel and his decisions.
“The judge is doing his job,” said Daniel Petrocelli, shaking his head, when asked if planned to seek Curiel’s recusal. “We’re not seeking to recuse the judge.”

Where in the hell did you come up with the idea Trump is alleging racial bias on the part of Judge Curiel against him?

Horse shit, it may be tough to get them to accuse a judge of racial bias without any evidence, for good reason. But if the Judge has displayed racial bias toward their client then they are duty bound to report that unethical behavior. they could, in fact, be disciplined by the Bar Association for failing to provide representation to their client.

The fact that they haven't means that it doesn't exist anywhere except in Trump's pea brain.

You really can't be this fucking stupid.

Wait, i forgot who I was posting with for a second there. OF COURSE you're that fucking stupid.

Seriously, though, if Trump doesn't win it will be his own fault. He was leading (or tied) in polls in late May, had all the momentum, and then his childish character overrode everything else and he started having on ongoing tantrum about the stupid judge in his stupid civil lawsuit.

Yes, the judge is no doubt bias and no doubt a Latino ethnic radical, and an Obama appointee, but talking about it and doing so by caling him a Mexican, when you are fighting for the chance to save the world, there are no words to explain this. Its like WTF, dude?

He may still have a chance to turn this thing around, but it has just made it that much more Herculean a task. He's already fighting the entire news media propaganda cycle of negative stories 24/7 about him, to hand them something like this on a platter is beyond moronic.

Trump has a bad habit of speaking off the cuff in his unique kind of verbal shorthand that is easily misinterpreted by those looking to do so. It's one of his glaring flaws as a politician. Also one of his assets, interestingly enough. It will be interesting to see if it's more of a detriment to him than an asset, in the long run.

I understand that Trump believes that no one could possibly ever disagree with him and that no impartial judge could ever possibly find against him. I also understand that Mr. Trump is a egotistical narcissist who isn't used to anyone telling him no.

Sure they should, provided that there is evidence that they are biased in some way. Someone's religion, sex, or ethnic background is not reason for recusal in and of itself.

And now we add sexism into the mix.

Good question.

Ah the "My comments were misconstued" line.

Which may have played had Trump not doubled and tripled down on his idiocy.

That was one of the most intelligent posts you've ever made. I cannot disagree with a single word of it.

Everything I've read that Trump has said on the issue has made perfect sense, if you understand the way he speaks. Even what you call doubling down and tripling down.

I'm sure it makes perfect sense to you that trump would dogwhistle his supporters by claiming that the judge in the San Diego Trump 'University' case is a Trump hater and we think, "Mexican" (he's American, born in Indiana) and is biased because of Trumps insane plan to build a wall.

Trump's implication was that because the judge is "Mexican" (not really), he is incapable of being impartial, because of Trump's anti-immigrant rhetoric, in a completely unrelated case. He later expanded that to include Muslim and female judges.

It does make perfect sense. Do you honestly think the judge is totally unbiased toward Trump? I don't, and I understand why.

LMAO. Even senior Republicans are calling what he said racist but 2bob continues trying to dance.

That's because they're idiots. Mexican is not a race. Calling someone Mexican is not a racial slur. Mexico is a multi-racial country. Some Mexicans are as white as it gets. Some as black as it gets. Some as Amerind as it gets. These allegations of racism are totally ridiculous. It's like calling someone Canadian. Is that racist?
