Hey Dixon....or anyone else who can answer this.

CB, I like your new icon! I love Les Miserables.... cry REALLY hard everytime.... *sob* I love the music, too, but I never knew who did it.

Not what you asked for, but..

A great CD...
The Andrew Lloyd Webber Album, Laurie Beechman

Songs from a variety of his Broadway hits. Her voice is simply intoxicating! Just something new to check out, if you're in the mood. *g*

Good morning from Orlando ;-) It's friggin' COLD here for Florida!

What I've heard of his Austrailian Archibald Craven is absolutely wonderful, especially "Lily's Eyes" and "How in the World" (both songs in which I thought Mandy Patinkin coudln't be outdone), but I've only heard him on *ahem* bootleg tapes and not on quality recordings.

BTW, CB if you go to SEE J&H be prepared for it to be VERY different from the CD. They've tinkered with it a lot since then...some good changes, but some bad too. The biggest mistake IMHO was the removal of the number "Bring on the Men." I loved that song and Eder performed it stunningly.

A friend of mine wrote this short synop when I asked her about Warlow:

"He's Australian, I think he's about 38 now. Married, one daughter (Phoebe, I think his wife's name is Celia.) He has a lot of experience in Opera, but is primarily known for being the Australian Enjolras in Les Miz, the Australian Phantom (the youngest in the world at the time, at 27), and he has also essayed the roles of Daddy Warbucks, Prof. Henry Higgins, Teen Dream, and Archibald Craven. He battled lymphoma in 1993-94, after which he made an incredible recovery, but he is now bald. No biggie. Anyway, he was asked by Frank Wildhorn to sing the roles of Jekyll & Hyde on the double complete recording CD which followed the concept CD (on which Colm Wilkinson played the roles). He has never been on Broadway. That's about all I know, except that he's a great cook, and that you can find his official web site with a simple Yahoo! search. What brought this interest on? He IS yummy and wonderful."

MP ;)
