Yep I do, one is almost 9 one is 2,5 and one is about 5 months the two older ones are female the youngest is male.

Well if you have questions the best place to put them is ORP anouncements, some one should be able to help you rather quickly.

The rules are simply #1 have fun, #2 write, this is a role-playing forum so try and keep threads to role-playing or discussions on role playing, #3 try and leave an out when you put some one in a compromising position. For example don't say "I shot him in the head." Instead say "I took aim for his head and pulled the trigger." This is similar for nonlethal things like kicking a guy in the balls. NPC you generally can do more with.

I'm beating you figured most of that out on your own. Any how my advice is find a story that sounds interesting and post a OOC reply with a character. If you have a good idea of your own feel free to start a story on your own. The add thread button is at the bottom of the main forum or any of the pages of an existing thread.

Back again for the first time

I don't think I'm technically new here but I've started some threads littered with Newbie mistakes. A few gems...

1. Not keeping up with a RP thread I'd started (too bad too, it was good and I had a lot of veterans playing it).

2. Starting a game design thread (actually, this took off, but it became clear that game design isn't what this board is about).

3. Not getting to know the folks on the RP board. I mean, this one is basic. I just leapt in and started making games and wondered why no one bothered to play 'em.

So this time I'm gonna do it right. Getting to know everyone, introducing myself around and generally getting a feel for the board and letting the board get a feel for me.

I pretty much used it as a weigh station where I could lasso a few people for my games. The first one got filled up with erotic roleplayers and the second one ended up ignored with everyone posting on the OOC thread and no one actually playing.

This time, I'm taking my time, getting a feel for the board and letting the board get to know me as well.

Khad, I didn't say you were disappointed but judging from your first post I would say it's not what you expected. After all if I where to announce a chat secession now it would quickly get buried with conversation. Or so I think. I must say though you should be damn proud.

Actually Cats, if I remember right, we had a few chats on yahoo messenger with mics as a group waaay back. It did not work so well so that is what started the social thread. Is that correct Khad?
