Have you had your very long Krondarr? My last one was a collie and his name was Bulldozer.

I haven't had him long, Jade. My older brother gave Buzz to me because he couldn't take care of the dog. I had a dog before Buzz, but he was killed by two pitt bulls

 

[Lord Emu]

I am not sure if I am spelling the breed name right I think its Shipprkey.

 

[Jade_]

I am so sorry to hear about your other dog. That must have been horrible.

I have never heard of the breed Lord Emu you will have to post a pic of it on here so I can see the little guy.

 

[Krondarr]

It was, but as far as I am concerned he died a hero. He defended his yard, and he is still there protecting it.

Here is a picture f my dog Pokey. She got the name for a couple of reasons. First off when we got her she was only 4 months old so she was pouncing the leaves and everything else the whole way home. That reminded me of the curious dog from my favorite childhood story The Pokey Little Puppy and that is how she got her name.

That is so sweet Krondarr. I see you are a real southern gentlemen.

She is sooo cute Lord Emu. Look at that little face. Have you had her for very long?

Thank you, Jade. That's nice of you to say. Would you like to see a picture of Buzz?

Almost 6 years now. The thing with her breed is they have a long life span. From what I read the average life span fro their breed is 20 years.

Where are you from Lord Emu? That is great that they have a long life. I know how much they become part of the family and what a special place they hold in the heart of those that love them.

I am from a crappy little suburb of Chicago although I lived in Chicago for 13 years.

I would love to stick around longer but I am tired. I went to bed late last night and got up earlier than I needed to today. I want to get some rest so good night.

Yeah, it's hard to be mad at him, although he makes it tough at times.

I know what you mean. Than at the same time they are so wonderful. When I come home late the first thing I see when I open the door is Precious jumping up and down as I come in. They love they give is so pure.

Where in the south are you from? You live in a large city?

 

[Krondarr]

I'm in Mobile AL which had it's 300th birthday this year.

 

[Jade_]

Is Mobile very large?

 

[Jade_]

The only places in Alabama I know are Birmingham and Montgomery.

 

[Krondarr]

Yeah, it's pretty big, well big for Alabama. About half a million people live here.
