Neither of us are QUITE complete with our outfits. But we'll hopefully have complete garb and be going back to faire in a few weeks for the last weekend after Thanksgiving.

its been awhile

long time ( nearly a week ) no see.

Just wondering how everything is? Here in the land of sunshine it has been raining nonstop for nearly a week,

It's just been one of those weeks. It's been unseasonably warm here for the past week. Buuuut it is texas and I didn't even notice until the news man pointed it out this morning. Haha... just been busy is all. I did manage to make a fairly decent bag of a nice light tan deerskin for sabersoul's garb over the weekend. It was very soothing to do all that stitching, I think I may just start to make random pouches and stuff to sell at the pow wows. And new moccasins for me. It's very nice to just turn off and just push the needle in and out. Annnnd skins aren't that expensive, until you start getting into big skins (buffalo, large cowhides) or exotic skins. Also the smell of leather is probably the best airfreshener around. And so I babble...



Just for you Wulfie(and anybody else who happens to looks I guess, but lets not trivialize it)... I dunno if I posted this one yet we shall see... It is just a beautiful pic that some one took over last new years.

You'd probably be one of my lapdog regulars if you ever lived in my area of the country/came into the restaurant. I never forget anything about customers, ever and I'm alway really good about remembering to ask about spouses, kids, fantasy football team, whether or not they're healed up from xyz injury/illness etc etc etc.

One guy was about floored that I remembered his birthday and remembered to bring him birthday baklava without his companion subtly or not so subtly pointing out it was his birthday. To be honest the only reason I remembered his birthday was because he put it in the context of his astrological sign and he always gives me a hard time, in a playful manner.
