Someone tried to rewrite a read only document in the Alvaz file setting off a monitoring program. Can Jacob remotely access the systems in the local office?

Sebastian and Billy looked at each other, and then Billy nodded

As can our ops head and your secretary, correct Sebastian?

He nodded.

Well then we have a watch list and yes dad it will include my brother and yes you can tell him that if you want. Do they even know I am part of the company yet? I mean, after all, they were not at the party nor conference called in at the meeting?

She already knew the answer to the question. They had no idea she was now part of the company but why? Was he avoiding the fight they would try to start over it or fit Jacob would pitch since he believed every word their mother said about her?

Sebastian avoided the question, just as he had avoided telling her brothers. He figured once they were all back together, they could work it out

Billy took a chance

I don't think that we should tell anyone within that group. I think they are overconfident, likely to be sloppy, why make them aware that we have identified an issue?

She shrugged.

He saw the sadness in Sebastian's eyes

We don't know it is him, or anyone specifically, but you have worked to hard to build this firm to not find out the answer and hold whoever is doing this accountable

Sebastian smiled and nodded, "yes, I guess we do"

Honestly, I doubt that Jacob would be smart enough to pull something like this off daddy.

She shrugged.

Now, Billy, I doubt he is worried about that possibility but ore worried how he is going to tell my brothers that I am a part of the family business.

Billy had now heard that referenced several times which made no sense to him, he was less confident though in Jacob's innocence, but agreed if he was involved, he was not the brains behind it

Sebastian, is she right?

Why would the boys not want her, she is incredible at what she does...and she is family?

As you know Jacob and I seldom talk outside of business. Jacob backs his mother over everyone. Her other brother I do not know for sure how he would react. He did not approve of the security angle she chose not did he approve her being sent with their mother it seems anything I agree to or accept he has to be devil's advocate on so who knows.

He sighed looking between them.

They have all been apart so long and never really got to grow up together.

It was hard for Billy to understand

All of his life part of him had longed for a family and siblings and to have it and not be able to enjoy it seemed sad

That is too bad, she is amazing at what she does, and is a huge asset to what we are doing here, as everyone is about to realize, some who it will end their careers

I will remind you dad I did not sign up to play favorites or any of that. I will be ruthlessly direct and by the book. Just a reminder that no one who crosses that line will be safe.

He wondered what she would do if the issue was him...

She went to get herself more bourbon. Sebastian sighed.

I truly do not know how to approach my own daughter's presence in our family company to her own brothers Billy. I am sure that Jacob if he has talked to his mother then he possibly knows already. Still waiting for that flip out phone call.

What is it so much they hate about her doing it?

If they are scared for her, they just need to see her train?

If it is something else then they have to get over it.

God only knows how they are going to react to hers and my relationship!

In all honesty I should have fought harder for what the kids wanted. Jacob would have been with his mother and she would have been with her brother and I and at least maybe the two of them would have been close.

Billy you know my son's. Jacob is... Well Jacob and his brother well... devils advocate about everything plus I don't think either one of them know what she does.

Sebastian chuckled hearing her walk back he nodded to Billy.

I think even I would like to see her train. I think to truly and fully understand my daughter as well as you seem to I think I should stop being worried and fearful of it I should see this with my own eyes.

Looking to her he smiled

What do you say? WOuld it be alright if your old dad saw you train?

As long as you can stand still and not try to get involved I guess Billy think he could handle it?

It was one of the fucking most impressive things I have ever seen

I love her, and would die if something happened to her, but Sebastian, she is good....I mean, really good

She sat there for a moment thinking about which training and certifications she had coming up.
Live fire offensive driving to get a subject to safety... hostage situation training... or something else. They would allow them to be in the car with her on the driving one. The other would be remote where they were watching from cameras. She thought about both options for a long time. Finally talking

Be ready when I call you I have two different training events in two weeks... drag my brothers along if you want to.

Billy could only laugh as she described scenarios that might make Navy Seals flinch

He looked at her father

My training goes well beyond just the computer work that I do for you dad you knew that from the beginning.
