There's no way I could ever concentrate on cheering on the Dawgs if you were lounging around my living room watching the game dressed in this exquisitely beautiful outfit! But them...you could wrap yourself in a burlap bag and use duct tape as a belt and STILL look like you were in an evening gown ready for a night on the town. And that smile? If you could bottle it, you'd solve the world energy crisis in a heartbeat. And I'll wager your laughter (and giggles....you DO giggle don't you??!? lol) are highly contagious and infectious. You are amazing...

I do love to laugh and have others laugh with me. And I think you've been around here long enough to know how much I love the idea of spreading joy and sunshine. Well, there is now no more time. I have family coming in for the Thanksgiving holiday next week. They are expecting food. They are expecting LOTS of food. My dad even sent me cash in the mail two weeks ago to help pay for all of the food he's expecting. (And isn't that just the sweetest thing to do???)

So now I am trying to figure out what to cook, what to buy, and when I'm going to cook it all.

Um...yeah....your "nails" look fabulous! Round and firm and soft and delightfully teasing! Ahem....and as for dinner...yep, your "nails" look wonderful. You've got me all tang tongueled. And mesmerized. But dinner...turkey breast maybe? Breast? Did I really just say that??!? Shit. I...um....phew...is it hot in here? Dinner. Back to dinner. Why am I wondering if you'll be serving milk as a beverage??!? You've bedazzled me yet again...sigh....anywho... Whatever you cook up will be delicious, just like you. It's all about family anyway. I used to worry and fret as I'm the holiday chef, but no matter what I plan on and what goes right (or inevitably wrong) with one dish or another, it's always a wonderous time with tales and laughs and memories and achy bellies. Whether it's simple or formal, sit down or buffet style, it'll be a meal and a gathering to remember. And even if it isn't one for the ages, you'll still be gorgeous and adored at the end of the day! It'll be awesome!!!

The nails are lovely. Just like the lady sporting them.

Now, this food thing. Don't over stress it. Is it warm in your area? Grille burgers and brats or dogs at least one meal. Or, split them up for two meals. Buy some pork loin slices for sandwiches one meal. Grab some premade salads at the grocery store. Do the BIG meal at noon on Thanksgiving, leftovers for supper. Breakfasts are a snap= Biscuits & gravy one day. Fruit, melon, yogurt, bagels or biscuits or English muffins one day. Breakfast casserole one day. You get the idea. Anything you can whip up and hold in the frig beforehand makes meal time easier. Oh, and buy a bunch of good quality disposable flatware, plates, and cups.

And yes, before you ask, I have done this before. My family (Dad, Mom, Brothers, Sister plus spouses and kids) used to do a weekend once a year. We took turns hosting.
