hey all after buying a few different products and toys, and reading different reviews and such, im thinking about buying a magic wand. my gf and i already have quite a few toys but dont want to keep having to sort through the junk. my gf often needs a fair bit of help cumming and from what i have read these are the way to go.
unfortunatley because its an american product it runs off a different voltage, and i dont want to have to run transformers and such. which sucks because its soo cheap in the USA. Over here they have an exact replica to run on our 240v system... but with the G-spot attachment its $260 australian (bout $300us). so its a lot to invest.
so are they worth it?

If I had to pay $300 for it, I don't know if I would or not... tough choice. But I will say it's a fantastic toy!! I absolutely LOVE mine. Since I bought it probably a year or more ago, it's really the only toy I ever use anymore. I have 2 different attachments for it.

I would highly recommend it. :D

warranty issues is another reason why id want to buy the local version

they can be had for $30 US...you can buy an adaptor for $20 (one time expense). That's $50. I send small presents to a Kiwi friend every Xmas...usually the size of the Hitachi...4# for $12 by USPS. You can do this 6 times for the price you are looking to spend.

Edit: I have spent $300 for a good sex toy before... and it was worth it. just know your options

If the adapter is an acceptable solution then look for a US retailer. Shipping to Australia should not be a problem.

one word......yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

mine was only $50 free shipping. I highly recommend it....best investment ever!! it really is the best. say goodbye to batteries and hello to mind blowing orgasms...seriously.

you and your gf wont be sorry.

I have one, and if you or someone you know needs a lot of help getting to orgasm, it's a great way to go. They are very powerful. Heck, with a Magic Wand, I can go from zero to orgasm in less than a minute! And then again and again and again... I only use it on rare occasions, though, because I worry about becoming desensitized if I use it too much.

I hope it is as good as you all say, because I just ordered one!

I can't wait for tuesday. Delivery day!!!!!

:cattail:

It's wonderful...a bit strong, but wonderful...ahhhhhhh. If your friend needs a little extra, this may well be the right toy for both of you. The spouse loves it, too.

yes yes and yes

my wife loves it. we use it to start things off then we go at it and then we use it some more and so on...........she begs me to use it on her alot and of course i oblige!!!

I've thought about getting a vibrating tongue ring for oral. As far as toys go though I was thinking about one of those pocket rockets. You know? They strap to your finger. Very portable lol.

yeah, it's not worth 300...dang. Funny though, I've had 3 in the past couple years...they last forever. They are worth 50 or so that they are here. I never got down with the attachments, they always came off, but I like the system itself. No batteries, just into the wall. Hard for travel though, I took mine one time and got dirty looks from the airport scanner woman :)

I put a small piece of that rubbery shelf/drawer liner under my favorite attachment so it wouldn't spin around while I'm using it. It provides just enough cushion and friction to create a very tight fit, yet the attachment still comes off easy enough.

As for the TSA lady, she was probably jealous. ;) I've always checked mine w/ the attachment(s) in a different area of the bag (and we always put our toys in ziplocs) so it's not quite as obvious--it IS a massager, after all--but I wouldn't hesitate to carry it on. It's not like I'm going to see the checkers again, and if they take issue with the quality of orgasms I'm having, that's their problem, not mine.

Excellent fix! I will pass that one along. My lady loves her Hitachi.

I once got a nasty look from a TSA lady at LAX for carrying sex toys in my duffel. She made sure to wave them all around so everyone got a good look. I got tired of it after the third sigh and scowl and so I said "I'm wearing a butt plug. Should you inspect that too?"

She turned red as a tomato and waved me through. Of course I wasn't wearing one but as soon as I said it I realized she could have subjected me to a body search in a room with dark windows and a locked door...

if your girl already has a hard time cumming this might make matters worse...... as bongogirl stated there's always the threat of becoming desensitized.
sure it would feel good while she was cumming, but if u use it alot, you can pretty much count on her not being able to cum with you alone.
I had a girlfriend with the same problem. after she brought a vibrator into the bedroom, she could no longer cum anyother way....

what a sad existance!
Some women simply need more (or a different type of) stimulation than a hand, mouth or cock can provide. For those women, vibes can be life-changing.

At any rate, I think it's silly to suggest we shouldn't use vibes to have as many fabulous orgasms as possible because we might become desensitized. While a mental dependency can develop (as is the case with nearly anything; how many guys say, "I just can come with a condom on?"), any physical desensitization resolves quickly.

I've been using vibes--including the Hitachi--for my entire sexual life, and I can still come from other types of stimulation, even though I've always needed a lot of a specific type to get off. And I know a lot of women have similar experience, which leads me to believe, "Don't use a vibe [too much] or you'll get desensitized" is a myth that's mainly propagated by people who feel threatened.

As for your ex, maybe she became mentally dependent on the vibe or just preferred it to other forms of stimulation. Or maybe she was faking it with you before the vibe came on the scene.

It could be propagated by the same people who tell men not to masturbate too much, or they'll get used to the feeling of their own hand and won't be able to orgasm from intercourse.

Some men do seem to have that issue, though, so I don't think it's a myth.

Everything in moderation.

That said, I have to admit, I've had one in my life since 2000 so that's 10 years. I never became desensitized to "it" but I did have a time where I was using masterbation as a nightly ritual and I had to lay off so that I could have easier, more flowing orgasms. so I desensitized to the fact that I was having orgasms so often, not to the magic wand. It's in my arsenal, it will always stay here :)

and i love the butt plug comment. One time I got a dude scanner and apparently I didn't even notice his calling his buddies over...I had the two kiddos and was nursing and my hubby saw him. I like my vagina and I take care to give it love. You carry lotion, I carry my magic wand...whats the difference? :D

magic wand

hell yes! I love my wand. My hubby now uses it on my clit before he ever penetrates me so by the time I cum I don't care if we have a quickie !!!:caning::caning:
