This was an actual story I read once, but it was years ago and now I can't find it anywhere. I thought it might be here on Lit, but I can't find it. Maybe someone recalls reading it? Or someone might be interested in writing it? I thought it was simply called The Hitchhiker. The writer also had a similar version which starred a woman coming over to a man's house.
