I wouldn't say masterful. I'll sometimes type the way I talk, full of y'alls and ain'ts and fixin' tos. But I tend to write the way you'd expect somebody of fair intelligence and education to write.

Because after a while you get to where you're so frustrated with everything you'd written and you just throw it all out and start from scratch only to rewrite a few choice words. so I felt I'd give back what I'd been given.

I well understand this from both sides...sometimes I havent the energy to engage those ive found in the past both worthy and stimulative, but when ive tried slumming with easy pickings, monotone, or -shudder- monosyllabic responses feel like ive completely wasted my time.
