Well, Jack's wolf is at The North Pole, but it looks like Jack himself is in suburban Shanghai, so we're still gathering.

No rush, don't panic.

I think Yuandan is going to herd The Nian towards Thames Town, as it's away from central Shanghai and basically deserted.

Lunar, shall we play it that that's where Jack Samhain ended up when he went looking for The Guardian of Chinese New Year?

And Yuandan and her quarry will go careening by in five... four... three...

Well first off, do we know who recruited her? (Actually by that I mean you as our characters wouldn't yet).

If you are sticking with Pitch it might be fun to do one with him and Jack where you get to play around with Jack a bit. Maybe Pitch even puts you in charge of him to boost your powers and negate some of the side effects you have. (heat for example)

Of course this could be done in flash back mode as well, with you slinking into Christmas town and sending Jack in first to spy on things before revealing yourself.

Just a few thoughts.

I'm not gonna be writing Pitch or Jack Frost at all I don't think, though Tears and I were discussing a theory that Pitch would control Jack Frost into recruiting Snegurochka, because she would look up to him.

But this gives me another idea!

Maybe there's a shard of Jack Frost's heart in the pendant they give Snegurochka to enhance her powers and protect her from melting. Then, since Pitch controls Jack Frost's heart, Pitch could use the pendant to exert influence over Snegurochka, though maybe not control her completely as he controls Jack Frost.

What do you think, Tears?

I have absolutely no problems with people NPCing someone like JF or Pitch, though I'd rather their potential plans be discussed with me through PMs first so no icky surprises emerge.

Also, what do you guys think of a darker version of the MitM (Man in the Moon)? Since part of the moon is usually shrouded in darkness, I thought that there could be two men (or women).

And I love the idea of part of Jack's heart being given away. In fact, what if the heart is split into two pieces?

My mental image was a shard, like an icicle, because Sneggy's pendant is tiny. Also, if it's an icicle, it evokes the "Snow Queen" folklore that inspired "Frozen." That tale did involve an icicle in a boy's heart slowly taking him over, rather like Pitch would be using JF's heart to take Sneggy over.

Would that work?

I love the idea of a dark man in the moon (Or woman). It suits Perfectly.
