exactly... there's always a break-in period you have to get through before the motions come naturally... the best driving is done through the hips...
very nice recent photos, by the way...

I think so too. A little warming up first usually goes a long way - sliding into top gear will be then be smooth as silk

'course you get the engine revving well enough and you can skip a gear or two... and, from what i recall of one of the photos of the boot, you look silky smooth already... ("gentlemen, start your engines...")

Very true! Sadly, very few drivers seem to know how to do this correctly...they may need to read the drivers manual. I do like it when the boot is smooth and slick...makes the ignition easier to find....and helps with the aerodynamics (sp?) heehee

aerodynamics?... that must be quite a ride!... and i'm afraid that reading the driver's manual doesn't make for a good driver... some things you can only learn from experience...

You are correct...it can be a good starting point though.

Im a firm believer in, that if you are a driver of any worth, you will know exactly what the engine needs to get the maximum performance from it.

And if you don't yet know how that particular engine runs, listening and watching carefully will usually ensure a drive/ride to rival any F1 performance vehicle...
