Hour of the Knife.

OOC: Hey, take your time. If its a family member, that's a plenty good reason not to be posting. And fear not, I didnt think it was lack of interest.

IC: William looked into this lovely womans eyes. A smile crossed her lips, and he couldnt help but return the smile. "Tis the least we could do ma'am." William looked over to his sister Elspeth and said "Elspeth, you and Alexi can leave for the night if you like, I shall stay here and watch over her." he said, gently releasing the woman's hand, and standing up, straightening his suit. He looked to the constable and said " And good sir, if any new information comes, I shall be the first to let you know. But right now, I think she does need her rest. After all, she did have a terrifiying experiance." Looking down to Angela, he agian smiled, running a hand gently across the top of her head, telling her it would be alright.....

Alexi:

Nodding his understanding, Alexi smiled as a brother to a brother. He turned toward Serena. "Serena... Would you allow Elspeth and I to stay in one of your spare rooms for the night?" Alexi asked softly as he continued to embrace Elspeth to himself.

"It is very late I fear..." Alexi said a little absently as he looked out the window into the chill night, praying nothing more transpire in Meridon's streets.

Killer:

A pair of dark eyes Peered into the moderately sized estate. The mists and the blackness of night cloaked the rest of their owner from sight. For the briefest of moments, those maddened eyes locked with Alexi's, then they were gone.

Alexi:

In an instant, Alexi was on his feet, at the window, flinging it open, looking out wildly. Everyone was given a start by his sudden actions... But it was for naught, whoever it was, was gone... Alexi slumped against the windows frame. Had he just imagined it?

Serena

After so many hours of intense waiting, Serena felt her first wave of exhaustion hitting her. She was so happy that Angela was on the road to recovery, she ignored her own bodies needs for rest. She went to freshen up and without warning felt a chill over her whole body. It was if an evil was all of a sudden present. She then decided her exhaustion was playing tricks on her. However, the girl had been stabbed brutally and would have been murdered if it hadn't been for Alexi, Elspeth and William.

She decided to let it go, the killer surely wouldn't know her or anyone present in her home. Just as she was finishing that thought, she witnessed the look the on Alexi's face. He then ran to the window, and at that point she knew that there was a danger so evil and horrible lurking. She became very very frightened. If only she could have someone to hold on to right now. She decided Elspeth could be a comfort right now and moved to her direction. Elspeth was her very best friend. She knew that this evil would not just go away and that the lives of everyone in that room would be changed forever.

Angela silently watched everyone in the room as they made plans for the night. Suddenly the man she knew to be Alexi jumped up and ran to the window. Her heart jumped him her chest. Did he see someone? Her attacker maybe? Angela could still feel his rough hands on her. She had been hurrying home from a friends house when she had heard a noise. A man stood behind her, he seemed nice enough. He was polite and had a nice smile. Then all of a sudden he had grabbed her. The rest was a blurr, she was just thankful these people had come across her, otherwise she might be... she shuddered at the thought and did her best to block out that thought. She felt William gently run his hand across the top of her head and somehow everything seemed to fine, and for the first time after her attack she felt safe.
