Where are all the Houstonians hiding?

We're not hiding... we are just out here trying to keep our heads above water!! <LOL> :D

I'm pretty new here, and I'd been wondering where everyone was as well!! Was getting lonely!!!

Morning Houstoners - how's the heat there today????

Who knows! The a/c is working great!

Ok, I admit... I just looked it up. The "Real Feel" is a steamy 109 this afternoon! Humidity is only 77%.

All in all, it's just another Summer day! LOL

New to the thread

Hey there fellow Houstonians.....I'm a long-time lurker that has finally started posting a little. I saw this thread and thought I'd give a shout out to my hometown Litsters.

It may be hot today...but I'll take hot any day over the crappy rain.

I heard Vegas was worse.

 Vegas with humidity worse than 77%???? Every time I've ever been there I think I've gotten a nosebleed because it's so dry! A Texas gulf coaster demands their humidity!

I've never been. Wanted to go but have just not gotten the chance.

Humidity is good for my hair. :D

I've been to Vegas 5-6 times over the last 10 years.....and thankfully only once in the summer.... It was July 110-115 in the shade and you could feel the sidewalk heat right through the soles of your shoes.....

All my other trips have been between October and January...much nicer
