I'm not sure yet. BB2 was trying to convince me today. Are you going?

I have a commitment earlier in the day but I'm going to do my best to attend.

(Look out for BB2's ping pong paddle.)

You have to constantly have to watch BB2. *nods*

Mexican candy sounds good. Think we can talk him into making it?

groceries

All y'all know it's Tax Free weekend, right? Who knew (but do NOT tell Bluebie) that adult diapers are considered tax free for back to school stuff. Who do you think added that one to the list?

... but backpacks still aren't on the list!

My youngest just got new shoes and all before he visited his brother in Washington State. There really isn't anything on that list we need to get him.

We've gotten everything but construction paper.

I am so ready for school to start! :nana:

I got back into town late last night after moving older daughter to her first apartment in the Hill Country southwest of Fort Worth. She's working in a university system there. I don't know if it was being scruntched up while driving that big pickup for hours on end, or pushing and pulling box springs and mattresses around, but somehow I managed to pull out my whole left shoulder and neck muscles. Owwwwwwwwww.

She didn't have ANYTHING in the way of household things. Nada. We bought canisters, a coffee maker, can opener and toaster. Then all the pantry things like baking soda and sugar, salt, pepper, ketchup, mayo, mustard, pickles, cereal, snacks, butter, milk, canned goods, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaners of all types, sponges, etc. etc. etc. I think she's going to be happy there.

Younger one left for her university orientation today in San Antonio. She'll come home for a week and then we'll pack HER up to install her at school.

Charmed, be very very very glad you're at the crayon and construction paper stage. It only gets more expensive from here on out.

Soon, you will have the Litster's guest room ready.
