Anything that has Porter in it has potential.

No, honest... Life flight made a rescue of a guy who climbed up 75 feet to rescue his pet bird. It was broadcast on their website. I don't know why the bird owner felt the need to go up the tree... but he couldn't flap his wings and get down on his own.

How many of the new R2D2 mail boxes have you seen? I think we should take pictures and post them.

Haven't seen any. Aren't there supposed to be some boots that have been decorated out and about town similar to the way they did the cows?

The boots were all in the big pond in front of city hall. They're gone now.

I've seen 2 of the mail boxes. They're within about 50 yards of each other. Considering there are only 400 of them in the entire US, that's pretty good. If I stand across the street I might be able to get both of them in the same photo.

One is at the bottom of the stairs at the side of the old City Hall building -- where the Houston Convention/Visitors Bureau is located. The other is around the corner and across the street -- out front of the City Hall Annex building between the Historical museum and the Hobby Center.
