Would you prefer the frilly panties or the shoes that won't fit you? I think you should opt for the panties.
:p
I have trouble walking in high heels so I will opt for the panties.

Any excuse to go shopping again, eh?

I drug Bluebie over to High Fashion Fabrics today (they're actually open on SUNDAY -- we're in trouble now). Actually I had to bribe him with lunch at Mai's first, then we went to the fabric store.

I looked wistfully across the street at High Fashion Home, but he said I was pushing it. Oh well. Another day...

How was Mai's? I have read some reviews that it isn't as nice anymore.

OMG - I went to High Fashion Home a few weeks ago. I'm ready to throw out everything in my house and redecorate with their things. Some of it was very chic yet almost obtainable.

Some of their fabric was better than a comedy for the laugh factor.

Can I have your old decorations? lol

Wasn't I supposed to decorate your place? Let's just go shopping there. I know you are loaded. :)
No I am broke for awhile. Texans tickets, ya know.

I KNEW IT! I just knew if anyone had been there it'd be you.

Well, now you know. They're open on Sundays.

It was kinda funny in High Fashion Fabrics. I pointed out the printed silks. Bluebie grabbed one and said it was nice. When I pointed out it was $89.99 a YARD you'd have thought his hand was on fire. *laughs*

They do have some gorgeous material in there.

What good taste!

There is one in the upholstery section that looks like the label for Kaboom cleaning products - purple, pink and lime. It is like brightly colored rabbits tails sewn together.

Well, go hock TFG's Texan's tickets and help me redo his place. I'm perfectly happy spending his cash!
There will be no hocking of my tickets. I still have NEVER missed a Texans home game in person, regular season or preseason. And that streak will stay in tact.

I haven't noticed any difference. We go there about every 2 weeks. It's the same as it's always been. Bluebie gets his pho fix for a bit and I eat spring rolls. Today we both had the coffee with condensed milk that you brew at the table, mix up and the pour over ice.

If I had my druthers, we'd go to Nit Noy's, but the one downtown is never open when we're over there, and I'm not driving all the way to 1960 just for that. Bluebie likes Mai's and it's only 2 blocks from High Fashion. *waggles eyebrows*

Blow off Mai's and go to Niko Niko's!

I tried Mai's several months ago and liked it enough to eat that meal but not to rush back. I had a noodle dish. Did I order the worst thing on the menu?

Please don't tell Bluebie about it, mkay?

That sounds horrid...or else it needs to live in Montrose or Midtown, you know?

Today he was trying to talk me into making him a lycra jumpsuit with sparklies. That's what he does when I take him somewhere he doesn't want to be. The poor counter woman seriously tried to explain to him why you wouldn't want a speedo made of quilting material. Always an adventure, I tell ya....

It was hideous.

But, I do think it would trump a sparkly jumpsuit! You would be willing to leave him at home if he were wearing it! No worries of going out in public wearing that ensemble.

Every time we go by Niko Niko's, people are lined up and all the inside tables are taken. His majesty won't sit outside, you know. It's been AGES since we've been there.

Noodle dishes seem to be the thing there. I personally perfer Thai food anyday over that of Viet Nam, so I'm probably not the best person to ask about Mai's.

We took cheesiesuze there. Ask her what she thought.

You are SUCH a good fan. I sincerely hope your loyalty is rewarded soon.
