A friend wants to see some great Christmas lights and I figure a certain Houstonian Litster has all the answers. If not her, anyone else have some good neighborhoods to suggest? I've heard Prestonwood has lost its former glory.

We haven't heard from you since the balloon thing. I figured you'd been blown to OZ.

We drove through the Heights (use Bayland as the center point and be sure to drive down Heights Blvd too). There were some fun ones. My favorite is the "house" at the NE corner of Heights and 11th St. The next subdivision over from us is supposed to have good lights but we haven't made it over there yet to see.

remember, it is the holiday shopping season, I do believe she has barricaded herself in Macy's, Foley's, Neiman Marcus and whatever other dept store that's having a sale

I am so far behind schedule. I've lost track of the days, which is dangerous.

#1 son arrives from SF tomorrow. My house is a wreck. I still have bags to unpack from hauling Thanksgiving to Bluebie's dad's on the Red River.

I've been baking all week and have more to do before Friday.

We did most of the shopping this weekend and all that stuff has to be wrapped.

Bluebie flies to Austin Thursday. We'll pack up everything and follow over the weekend. Then we're packing up Christmas day to drive to #1 daughter's place.

Decorating? What's that? I just want my wreath hanger from the attic but I'm not going up there where the wild things live.

I have a small undecorated fake tree sitting on top of the mail on top of my piano. That may be the extent of the decorating this year.

I had a 32 credit teaching load last semester... full time is 15. Posted grades Friday, noticed that I the world was not set on pause as I had instructed.

Tree up, but no lights, and probably won't even try.

You know... you could just run to CVS and pick up a new one! That's sure what I'd do if there were critters in the attic!

I managed to put out the Christmas linens inside and went sorta wild doing the exterior lights. With that much done, I pooped out!

Okay...I went up in the attic, accompanied this time and my partner ASSURES me there is NOTHING living up in the attic. I have make a return visit before Sunday. I can't find the stockings. I was seriously considering making new ones in order to not have to go up where the wild things are.

I put up a baby tree last night on top of the piano and it's cute. I feel better now.

Have much wrapping to do tonight for office gifts and neice/nephew pressies that will be fed ex'd tomorrow. It's starting to come together.
