Well off to work in the morning to get some things done that had to be put off. Annual enrollment just ended and I was talking for 11hours straight for 3 days. Ome side of my head listened to me talk and said 'What the hell did he just say?' and the other said "Shutup and get this over with!!' I was slurring my words and having to repeat myself. I was punch drunk!

LOL

Tomorrow I think will be the day I get caught up with the yard. How many weekends left for renfair?

Mike

I think the last day is Nov. 20th.

I have never been to the Ren. I keep saying I am going to go but never do.
Go this weekend. Or next weekend. Or the weekend after....Wear a costume and let us know when you'll be there. :D

I think I already have plans for next weekend but the weekend of the 20th may be a possibility.

Can I half half of the proceeds? After all, I was your model!

Sure, I know how you like to shop so you will need your spending money.

And you have your sports habit to feed! I think yours is worse than mine! Well, if you take the new car out of the equation!

Rant of the day - Don't you hate when you are not even acknowledged by a single salesperson? I sat on the showroom floor with two of the doors wide open. It was easy to notice I was there! Actually, it's a good thing. It was the high end of the budget. It gave me a good reason to ditch them from the list of possible cars.

I wonder how much he will bid if I let him fly the helicopter next time.

Oh, why don't I fly the helicopter and you be the model? We should appeal to all purchasing demographics.

My sports habit is not as bad as your shopping habit, is it?

Rant reply - At least that did make it easier to leave once you realized it wasn't what you wanted. I hate being bothered when I just want to look.

Haven't you been looking for that car for awhile now? I think you were looking before I got mine and I have had mine for 2 months now.

I don't think the demographic exist for those wanting similar pics of me.

Stick with what sells. You model, I take pics.

LOL that's why I try to got a dealership when the sales people aren't around - I've had the same done to me - they all sat/stood around the front of the dealership pickin their noses while I went and looked at trucks - took one salesman helping someone else to see me and that he'd be right back - he just made an easy sale as I always know what I want when I go in. salesmen are scared cause 90% of people who buy cars now research and/or buy on the internet and their jobs are going away slowly - give it time and it'll be just like carmax everywhere you go LOL

From what you have described, your sports habit is actually more expensive to feed. The damn house has put a huge dent in my fun budget. If we discussed this 10 years ago, I'm sure I would have outranked you!

I've had some time to kill regarding the car. I've been watching the 2006 models trickling in and have come to find that the way I want it is "custom order" only. For the sake of negotiations, I've been looking at other cars to have a comparison/contrast and to truly make sure what I'm going to order is THE car for me. Still looks like it is. What stinks about ordering is that the negotiation factor goes WAY down and I'm trying to maximize that.

I've done most of my research online. It has produced positive results when I hand a guy a piece of paper w/ vin numbers written down. I typically tell them "I like it on paper. Make me like it in reality." Ah, to see how inept some are in sales. Pretty funny in my book!
