*giggles* No, you didn't. We just need a little more notice to pull something together for you, next time. (Hey, you're not the guy who wanted us to meet him in the Mickey Mouse store at the airport, are you? -- that one didn't work so well either) Glad to see you stop by.

No, I can't claim to be the guy who was looking to meet you in the Mickey Mouse store (although I'm sure you would look quite appealing in a Minnie costume).

I've been to your fine city about 5-6 times in the last year or two, but don't know when the next time might be. Nothing in the works right now.

I know you guys! It's all in the ears, right? *grin*

Keep us informed of your schedule next time you're down this way.

PS - Going have to give me a while to get all the buttons and whistles down on this site.

Well I for one thank you very much for your time..where would we be without those serving our country...my son is in the air force now...also glad you returned safely.

I grew up in Houston, though I live just north of Houston now.

Nice to meet you..:rose:

Thanks again for the kind words. Have a cousin serving in the Air Force, a little easier then the things I did (some of those things will haunt me for along time) though still very important. I learned a lot and am sure he is too. Sorry, tangent there. Live north of Houston? Like Tomball or up Tyler way? That is if you do not mind asking.

Yes my son is very lucky that he has not seen or done some of the things you guys have ...he works on F-16's...and is soon to join the Thunderbirds if they accept him...I just know he will make it.

I do not mind at all..I live inthe small town of Trinity. North of Huntsville.

Howdy back at 'cha Cherry and everyone else. Did everyone have fun with the storm yesterday?

It took me nearly 5 hrs to drive to Austin yesterday -- got caught up in blinding rain east of Navasota, oh and a very very bad accident had us stopped to admire the beautiful countryside for about 1/2 hour while the wreckers and emergency crews sorted the accident out.

What was so strange, was by other side of Brenham it was as clear as a bell and very dry -- even the ground looked BROWN. Oh well. Back now, safe and sound.

Ah... this crazy weather we are having! When is it actually going to rain enough that I don't have to worry about dragging out the hose! I opted to stay in yesterday and avoid the nasty stuff. It was just wet enough around here to be messy. There was never anything big enough to speak of. Friends on the other side of town were getting drenched though.

Someplace - Hey, if you get stuck in Navasota again, you'll have to try a favorite place for pie. It is called Must Be Heaven. There are now a few locations around Houston too. Great stuff!

mmmm sounds good. Thanks for the tip.

Has anyone ever gone over to The Flying Saucer Pie Co. over on Crosstimbers for their holiday pie? It's pretty good too.
