How can I have lucid dreams?

merely a conflict?

okay, i'm not going to say any more on this. you didn't mean to, i'd hope, but you've over-stepped the mark.

outta here.
Sorry.

When it was covered as part of International Relations, it was repeatedly labelled as "a conflict" and also as "a crisis" but not as "a war". I didn't pick the labels, and they were no reflection on the loss of life or the extent of injuries. I'm not referring to tabloids - I mean political science journals etc.

I used to get bad nightmares, so lucid dreaming has been VERY useful for me. When things start going in an unpleasant direction I can either abort the dream or reshape it to something better.

Unfortunately, I can't give any helpful advice on how to do that.

Thanks @Bramblethorne, what's the reason you can't give any advice on how you do it?

Thanks for sharing in detail Elle. That's given me a whole new way of looking at it. And in fact makes me remember that in my twenties I did have some success stopping negative aspects of sleeping like sleep paralysis, by making conscious practised thought interventions. Thanks again.
