how do I get to specific pages in a thread?

Some of the more interesting threads here are over 1000 pages long! I followed one thread about 50 pages or so into it, and planned to go back to read more, but it's so tedious going page by page to get to where I left off!

Is there a fast way to get to page 51, or 501, or whatever?

just remember a post that was written by someone that you liked where you are and do a search on it and presto.

If you know the thread, then open the thread up, then in the address bar add the following line to the end of that thread address right after the number without any spaces: -

&perpage=40&pagenumber=50

This should give you 40 posts on a page and take you straight to page 50. if you prefer a different number of posts on a page change the number 40, if you want a different page change the 50 to the new number.
