How do you pronounce Domme?

i've always pronounced it as "Dom - Me" .. just the way it looks. i pronounce the second syllable the same as the pronoun 'me'... with the accent on the second syllable.

i've heard it pronounced as 'ay' (rhymes with day) ... yet, that doesn't seem right to me in that i can't think of a word in the english language which ends with 'me' and is pronounced as such.

Seems to me the majority pronounce it as "Dom-may" ... while i continue to say "Dom-mee".

Not such a big deal to me regardless. Most everything i pronounce is mispronounced in the ears of many non-natives to my little southeastern corner of Massachusetts anyway.

Well it depends on who Im talking to really, if its my friends who know my quirky ways I pronounce them both the same, dom like saying mom lol. Unless Im talking to someone more formally then I say it dom-meeee. When typing I try to remember to spell them differently but depending on the situation Im lazy and even type it the same

Dang I'm glad you posted that...I was starting to feel really silly because that's how I say it too. Being deaf, I've never actually HEARD the word spoken so I just assumed that was how it was said based on spelling.

Dom-may is too strange for me...and "dom" seems kind of pointless...if I were to say to someone in person "my Domme" pronounced as Dom, wouldn't they likely assume I have a male dom? Makes more sense to me that they would be said differently for the sake of clarification.
