Well I do occasionally get mad and turn of Pm's. Contrary to popular belief, I am quite selective in whom I pm with. One person who is still on my friend's list doesn't even post here anymore but we still keep in touch via regular email and IM and telephone. (I wish Lit was set up like IMDB in regards to some things).

Either she can go to a buddy's post and click on their name and a drop down list appears and click on 'add to buddy list' or she can go to the left column on her PM page where all her editing options are and near the bottom is a buddy list, she can add whoever she wants from there.

we did that, but once pm's were turned off, she could not pm anyone or accept pm's.

as an example, we are both on each others buddy list, but once she turned PM's off, we could not PM each other.

we must be doing something wrong.

Buddies are overrated. They just want to borrow your stuff, or if they're female, they're just interested in sex. It's so annoying.

Okay, the truth is I don't even know how to work the buddy list thingy.
