how to edit signature?

okay, it's been over a year since I've been in here and the signature edit feature has changed. Used to, we just typed or pasted the HTML or Java script and a picture would appear witha link built in. But.....not anymore?

Nope, the HTML code has been disabled all over the boards because it's a security risk and some people abused the privelige. You'll note that if you spell that scripting language properly it turns to asterisks? That's because java$cript had to be added to the censorship filter because some people are assholes and just have to sneak applets into their posts, signtures, locations, etc.

Now, the rules for signatures are exactly the same as they are for posts -- vB codes, Smiles and IMG tags only.
