How to find an old friend.

I know a name that my friend used on here but they aren't responding to my messages. How do I check a persons postings without having a message from them in my mail box. I have messaged this person and get no response. I just want to see if they are actively posting in which case I will stop worrying about them and figure I am being ignored. I can live with that but there were some health issues and I care.

Look up to the menu bar and click on "search" then choose "advanced search." Enter the username in the right-hand box, then hit "search now" down below.

Just search for their name using the search function. You'll be able to see the recent posts he/she have made.
