How to have a great first date?

Tomorrow I'm going out with someone I met online.

I've never done met someone IRL after knowing them online (we've known each other about two weeks).

I'm a little nervous. Any hints/tips?

What are you nervous about, and what kind of information are you looking for?

There have been quite a few threads on this here in the past, particularly on safety. There was one about meeting people from the 'net in the past week, and are a ton on first dates floating around, so I'd try a search.

Be prepared, safe, comfortable, yourself and have fun!

On my last first date, I went to a Harley Shop, a coffee shop, and a graveyard.

I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but I had an amazing time, but then again, I had amazing company.

Be yourself. Take a few measures for saftey's sake (even though you obviously think the person is trustworthy,) then have a good time. The risks are not so different from agreeing to get together with somebody you met at the bar, the store, the pool, or the stadium.

Oh, and wear clean underwear.

Whatever you do, DON'T shave your legs beforehand. That way, you won't be tempted to sleep with him/her/them on the first date.......Carney (hey, it worked in "Return To Me")

i met my current gf on-line. we spoke on the phone for a few weeks then she travelled up from sydney (oz) to where i live (10hrs on a bus). we were nervous. but after about 30mins it was like we had known eachother for ages.
we will have been together 4 years in september
just be yourself and relax
