I joined the discussion board from my computer at work, but when I try to log in from home (with a different ISP) I can't get past a point where Internet Explorer is "loading" the login page. It seems to begin to load, then sort of stops and eventually jumps to a file or webpage not available message.

Is there some kind of cookie, reverse dns lookup, is my ISP (verizon) just blocked from access, or some security/firewall setting keeping me out? I have some experience and have looked at most of my settings and nothing seems wrong, also I have no trouble at any other webpage so I just don't know what's up.

I hope someone has suffestions or an answer, my wife wants me to come home, not spend evenings at work!

Literotica has had some trouble lately.

Yes, Lit. does use cookies.

You might try loging out from Lit. before leaving work.

I hope you don't get fired for cruising here during work hours!

Spyware?

Lots of spyware and viruses will block certain websites. Usually anti-virus related ones, though....I've never heard of one blocking a sex site.

Do you have access to a laptop of someone else's? If you could borrow it for a day, try accessing Lit. on that, using your internet connection at home. Then you can trace it down to either your computer, or your net connection.
