How to plausibly keep all the sperm in a woman?

Give me a summary.

Artificial insemination. A syringe with a stiff tube is inserted through the cervix directly into the uterus and the expectation is most of the sperm is retained for an extended period of time.

My wife and I wanted a child and yet it just was not happening, so I admit we tried a lot of different ways, including old wives tale tricks like keeping her legs up after having sex for ten minutes to keep the sperm in, and other listed tricks. None of it worked. We even went to a doctor and got fertility treatments, and even that failed. So in the end we resigned ourselves to the children that we had, feeling blessed that we were at least parents, and moved on with life.

A few months later she got pregnant.

I also got brain cancer and my doctor told me siring other children was over for me... so we never used protection after that; to which my wife and I had another child. Unrelated to my condition, it was a still-born, but my doctor could not believe I was able to do that.

But as a disclaimer, a couple wanting to have a child and being unable too is probably one of the most stressful things a couple can endure. So maybe if a couple is going through this, know, despite medical odds being low, it still can happen. To anyone else, just know that this time period is stressful, and be gentle in what you say.

As for doing crazy things to get pregnant or retain all the sperm; gracious me, I think I tried them all.
