Does anyone have any tips on restoring foreskin, or has anyone here ever tried doing it?

after looking around at some other sites, I've decided to try the homemade approach and am starting off with a film container. I put some lotion inside to encourage the head to get more natural (soft and moist, instead of dry and itchy).

This whole "tugging" thing is going to take some getting used to. but I'm already planning ahead for an elastic strap, or maybe some weights. ..and maybe a pulley system.. ;)
 
Thanks. that method looks good, and I've basically been doing that anyway since I was a kid (with just my fingers; no O-rings). so it should be a natural thing for me. :)

the rings sound more inviting than a film container + super magnet + washer + metal hook + elastic around the leg. I've had that on for over an hour, and I'm not sure I want to do it day after day for a year or two.

plus, it could be awkward to have to explain why I keep setting off the metal detector. :D definitely don't want metal if I can avoid it.

ok i am a little slow, but what is the advantage to doing this?
 
in my case, it's part peace of mind (accepting a wrong, but trying to fix it the best I can), and the desire to have a more natural penis. Also, I don't want the glans exposed 24/7 like it has been all my life. The head of a normal penis is almost always covered (except when it's being used for peeing/sex/etc), which protects it from constant rubbing/chafing/sensory input. It took me awhile to realize that the glans is similar to the inside of your cheek, and should be more moist, instead of dry.

Having the head always exposed can lead to thicker skin build-up. Some experience a lack of sensation, and take forever to cum, but for me, my problem is the opposite. in fact, I believe that the lack of foreskin has contributed to me being unable to last as long as I would like to.

My circumcision scar is about an inch down from the head, and when I'm erect, the skin around my shaft is firm, with hardly any extra to move the skin up and down. So, the result is that the inch or so of foreskin that I have left is contantly exposed, leading to sensory overload. There's been quite a few times where I wanted to make love for as long as possible, but ended up lasting 10 seconds. A normal erect penis usually has enough skin that the head stays covered unless the foreskin is pulled back.

After looking at diagrams/descriptions describing how a dick moves inside a pussy, and the mechanics of foreskin, I'm conviced that it would help me.
 
compared to this diagram, my inner foreskin is completely intact, and that's what I'm trying to expand. :)
 
I am restoring mine. There are many reasons or combinations of reasons, everyone is different. The best advice i can think of is to continue searching on the internet. See what you make of it. Try some techniques if you decide you want to. Be patient, it will take a long time and progress will be very hard to see at first and at different stages. You will likely change techniques over time, and have periods where you will stop. Since progress is slow, you can stop at any point you decide you don't want to continue. And restart any time as well.

I have found a great improvement in my sex life, for both me and my wife. I think it is well worth it. Almost everyone else who is doing it that I have heard of or read accounts of has made similar comments. Good luck and keep on tugging.

yeah, I have to force myself to keep stretching. I used a film tube and tape this past week, and I have to take it off each time to pee. Maybe I'll come up with a better system. manually stretching seems to help too.

One big, immediate bonus is that the head of my dick is a lot smoother and more sensitive now, because I put lotion on it before it goes in the tube. It's a much nicer texture, and it's amazing the difference a week has made.
 
After about two months, my wife, who didn't think it was at all likely to help, noticed a big difference in the way my penis made her feel when I was inside her. The extra skin created some amazing sensations for her. And that part has gotten better.

I am using something similar to a film tube. So i have to remove it to pee, as well. Tedious and a little time consuming, but it seems to fit my situation best. When i choose not to use it for a while (out of town travel and such) I use a little manual techniques.

Why I'm restoring...

Hi there everyone,

Just to chime in my experience, I've been restoring on and off for a few months using o-rings and manual tugging.\

I'm happy to see that this topic has come up a few times on Lit, as it seems to be a growing trend (particularly in the US where so many guys are circumsized at birth).

As to WHY i'm restoring... a few key things for me:

1) Humans have existed for about 3 million years, and after such a long time of natural selection, that natural penis has a foreskin covering the glans. (As do countless other species.) I'm not egotistical enough to say that I'm smarter than 3 million years of 'what works well' being passed on to each generation.

2) In some ways, it really upsets me (or pisses me off) that I had no say in the matter, and that someone else made a decision for me that affects my sexual life.

3) I don't want to feel like there is anything I'm missing from sex. I've seen the mechanics of the foreskin during intercourse, I personally find them to make sense, and be appealing to me. Being fully restored, I'll know that I'm getting as close to what nature intended as possible.

4) I prefer the look of an uncut penis, it just looks nicer to me. Also nice is the snug feel of my glans being surrounded by warm skin instead of brushing against underwear/clothes/towels/etc.



Those are my initial thoughts on the topic, and I'm wondering if any of the restoring guys feel similar ways.

I'm noticing a slight difference.. when I'm laying a certain way, and I stretch the skin over the head, it will stay like that for just a few seconds, just before the head pokes its way out (which is a very cool feeling). :)

If I pull the skin up enough, I can also slide my tongue inbetween the head and inner foreskin, and it's awesome! plus, there's a big difference in how it feels when I'm licking the head - before, it was kinda like licking sandpaper, but now, it's getting silky smooth.

hmm.. looks like I'm starting between CI-1 and CI-2.

My immediate goal is to have some soft coverage.. around CI-4. and depending on how things go, I also want hard coverage of CI-8 or CI-9.

I need to figure out how to make this less of a chore, and more of a routine that I don't have to think about.

If you're looking for something that you can wear and just forget about... it seems like 3 methods might be worth considering..

I just discussed my feelings with my wife. She was unsure what to make of it and worried that I might injure myslef. But she could see how strongly I felt so went along. After a couple months she started noticing a different feeling when I was inside her. She became a strong supporter.

Thanks for your support! It is always nice to hear from women in support of restoring. And, by the way, enough men have accomplished this that it seems quite clear that you will pass for intact, even during a Doctor's examination, once you get your foreskin long enough and wait a time for the swelling to go down and the skin to normalize. The key is to grow enough skin.

Out of curiosity, how are things progressing for you?

I'm progressing pretty well, still contemplating buying a product to move beyond o-rings, but not sure which one I'll purchase.

Interested in seeing how others are doing...
 
Slow and steady progress for me. Things keep getting better as my skin lengthens. For both me and my wife. Her need for lubricant is way down at this point. Many times none is needed.

But it is a long term project. It takes a lot of patience.

I'm glad to hear your wife is a strong supporter! I'm hoping to have my better half support me as well... Is there any chance your wife would pen a small testimonial and post it here? Lord knows it would help me. :)

After a certain point in the restoration, it should feel similar to, or the same as uncircumcised, right? There are lots of comparisons and testimonials from women who have been with both...would they help make your case?
 
I will check and see what I can find. My wife is not comfortable posting in places like this, but I may ask her. However, I belong to some other places that get input from fully restored men and I will post your question and see if I get responses. There are many sources of information on the internet, some of which discuss what it is like...but I don't remember seeing quite what you are after. Still, it has been a while since I have been purusing them, so you may want to dig around a bit.
