Hunter Biden plea deal falling apart?

I don't care if they lock up Hunter. He broke the law.

Trump also broke the law on multiple fronts and at a much greater scale. Lock up both of them, and they can both get "born again" while raking the forests to prevent wildfires. Beats sitting in a cell.

The question remains about Biden's lawyers being sanctioned for impersonating Republicans in an attempt to have an amicus brief removed from the court docket:

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden's lawyers claim 'fake phone call' attempt to remove papers from court docket was 'unfortunate and unintentional miscommunication' after judge threatened to sanction them on eve of plea deal hearing

  • Hunter Biden's legal team is accused of lying to the clerk in his criminal case
  • The alleged dirty trick was a ploy to remove testimony from IRS whistleblowers from the court docket
  • Delaware Judge Maryellen Noreika ordered Hunter's attorneys to explain themselves by 9pm today or be sanctioned

It wasn’t John Miller was it?

And I even got you a propaganda version of the story. Make you feel a little more comfortable.

I mean it tells you information you don’t want to hear… so it’s def pre-MAGA.

*chuckles*

I don't know if I'd use the word fuming, but I'm sure they would be upset, or dismayed over how court went the other day. It's up to the prosecution to vet the deal with the Judge, not the defence. The defence assumed the prosecution had done their job, and obviously they hadn't.

But I do forget you're pretty fucking stupid about your own legal system, tie that into your absolute obsession with Hunter, and we can all see why your posts come off as fanatic.

We agree on this. Can’t criticize Hunter’s attorneys for getting a “too good to be true deal” for their client. The DOJ allowed this to happen and hoped no one would notice. Judge rightly called BS.

Another lie and more gaslighting from BabyBoobs.

BabyBoobs is a POS.

The “too good to be true deal” was likely harsher than anyone else in the exact same circumstances would have been offered.

Glad to see CNN is back in your good graces, but the judge in the case has some questions about that deal lol

Decent, intelligent, sane people, don’t have a personal attachment to news sources.

CNN sacrificed some journalistic integrity by attempting to attract the MAGAt audience that was abandoning FAUX “news” like jilted lovers because FAUX “news” was sued into telling the truth.

CBS also sacrificed some journalistic integrity by hiring Catherine Herridge from FAUX “news” to attract that same MAGAt audience.

Other once fairly reliable / trustworthy media outlets have done the same thing.

Hope that ^ helps.

COURT: So have you ever seen -- I think I just asked you this, but have you ever seen a Diversion Agreement where the agreement not to prosecute is so broad that it encompasses crimes in a different case?

MR. WISE: No.

What exactly was "too good to be true"?
The DOJ allowed this to happen and hoped no one would notice.
The DOJ tried to write in an arbitrator with out prior consent from the arbitrator.
Judge rightly called BS.
The Judge was pissed she was named as the arbitrator, without the prosecution telling her that prior to court day. I can see how she might be upset, what I can't understand is why she didn't read the brief prior to court.

Seems we have another Trump appointed official, who shouldn't have gotten the role, since she obviously isn't up to the job.

It was a slap on the wrist. Judge Noreika cited several major irregularities which she characterized as “atypical.” With regard to the provision that would have her be the decider of whether Hunter violated terms of the deal, she rightly questioned the constitutionality. When the judge asked the prosecution if Hunter could be prosecuted for a violation of FARA, they were forced to acknowledge the answer was yes. Biden’s defense team initially objected and that’s when the wheels came off the bus.

But if the fix was in…as if Biden owned both sides… which he doesn’t…

BabyBoobs is a lying, gaslighting POS.

Full stop.

The right-wing prosecutor and the right-wing “judge” are both, at a minimum, incompetent for not being on the same page.

Beyond that ^; the right-wing prosecutor and the right-wing “judge” seem to be complicit in purposefully trying to make a spectacle of these proceedings to keep a spotlight on Hunter Biden / President Biden in a calculated effort to distract from the orange elephant turd in the room and its truly significant criminal behavior / exposure.

BabyBoobs is complicit in the lying and gaslighting routinely employed by right-wing garbage individuals like this right-wing prosecutor and this right-wing “judge”.

He really tries though. He’s the reason they started giving out participation ribbons, he just couldn’t get there but they saw he tried so hard.

Poor guy. One day he will get it right.

You like to move away from the common denominator, which was the Judge failed to do a proper review of the file before the court day.

As to what Hunter's defence team tried to do, of course they pushed the envelope to get the best deal for their client. That is what any good defence team does.

Shout out to Politico for getting pictures of the still-sealed plea agreement and releasing it to the public, and kudos to the judge for derailing it. I certainly don’t blame the defense for pushing the envelope to make everything quietly go away. The DOJ tried to facilitate their wishes and might have pulled it off if not for the good work of the judge.

LOL sure they did....if you think this is a bad case of Prosecution deals, look up Karla Homolka's deal. Or want one from the US, how about Michael Cohen's deal, and that was with a Trump appointed DOJ.

You thinking the DOJ operates under a political cudgel is fucking hilarious. It just points out that people who appear to be intellectual since they can write well and express their thoughts, are not necessarily all that smart. *chuckles*

Sorry. It wasn’t me that blew up the deal. The judge did it.

However, you can criticize the Biden attorneys for trying to defraud the Clerk of The Court by posing as Republicans in order to remove the Amicus Brief of Congressman Smith.

Sorry. It wasn’t me that blew up the deal.
LOL like your posting on a porn board could achieve ANYTHING...fucking laughable Boomer......CHEERS for that....

The judge did it.
Yes, I am well aware, didn't you read my past posts about that? Oh wait you do have a reading comprehension issue.
