Husband catches wife

Need a better character name for Jake. My right index finger keep wanting to hit the "J" on the keyboard. Any thoughts for the husband's name? I like the last name of Lowery, but no "Mikes" too "Bad Boys" for me.

Lowery

Yeah, i agree, Mike Lowery is too bad boy.

Nick Lowery to 1950's detective.
Larry Lowery to accountant.
Father Francis Lowery, wrong forum. ;)

How about Jeff Lowery for a husband name?

Jeff is a good and easy name to remember, but its starts with a "J"

What do you think about these:
Sean
Shane
Wayne
Mario
Felix
Doug

Hmmm...

Sean (real, has a nice ring to it. Sounds natural)
Shane (good name also)
Wayne (just doesn't do it for me)
Mario (mixing ethnicity)
Felix (No)
Doug (a buddy name, "Hun, I'm going down to the Pub with Doug Lowery" "Who is doing your taxes?" "Oh, Doug Lowery!")

Then again, as Dennis Miller sayd, "This is just my opinion, I may be wrong"

Sean Lowery is the winner...thanks!

Yes!!! Sean Lowery!!! Good name, looking forward to the story.

I'll work on it this weekend. I'm glad it's Friday, just sitting around waiting for traffic to die down, so I can make an ease drive of the 41 miles

Guess I'm lucky. I have a 6 mile commute. But during rush-hour it too takes 30 minutes.

It only took me about 45 minutes 75-85MPH, gotta love it when the traffic is moving. Home at last!

Synopsis with name change

The husband, Sean Lowery gets promoted the supervisor at a major distribution plant, but he is not salary paid, so he gets extra money from working overtime. With his promotion he believes that he is making enough to marry the woman of his dreams, his girlfriend, Jacqueline “Jackie” Pratt.

Jackie grew up in the projects, struggling to get by the best way that she could. The jobs that she had usually involved giving her bosses sexual favors to maintain her employment. She hated it, but at times having to use her charms to make her bills.

They marry and move out of the Projects into a modest home in the suburbs. Sean promises that Jackie would never have to work another demeaning job again, and she promises to fulfill all of his fantasies, being the kind of wife he’d dreamt of.

Jackie wears stockings, garters, high-heels, and aprons for Sean. She has all his meals ready for him, servicing all his needs. Sean was a good lover, and she enjoyed the life he had provided for her. She knew she had a good man in Sean.

Cutbacks at Sean’s job left with the choice of taking a demotion or being layoff. With a mortgage, two car payments, and other bills, Sean had only one choice. He didn’t want to loose everything that he had worked so hard to get including Jackie, so he took the demotion and worked as much overtime as he could.

In spite of their financial problems, Sean refused to have Jackie to work outside their home. He promised her that she would never have to work again.

Jackie worried, but not about loosing the house and cars, but about the stress Sean was having trying to make ends meet. She wanted to help out, but he wasn’t having it.

While cleaning up around Sean’s home desk, she saw the bills and notices. She knew she had to help weather he liked it or not, but she had limited skills and the bills were immediate. The one thing that she had that never let her down when she found herself in a pinch was her charms.

Jackie had been honest with Sean about the things she had done to get by, even while they were dating. To her surprise, he had been excited by them and had pumped her for details. She understood Sean’s pride and how badly he wanted to hold on to the life he started for the both of them. She wanted it too, and decided that she would try to help with him knowing.

Jackie made a call to and old friend, Gaynell from her old neighborhood. Gaynell had gone to night school, and the got a job as a Hotel manager. She turned tricks to pay her way through school, but continued turning tricks for fun. Her motto was “Sex is better when they are paying for it.” When ever she felt like getting laid, she would place herself on-call with an upscale escort service.

Jackie figured that she could make enough quickly through the escort service to keep the bills from becoming too far behind. They hadn’t received any fail notices yet, so she would only pay what were passed due.

For a while, Sean believed that things weren’t as bad as they had seemed. He was delighted that he was able to splurge a little on Jackie, taking her out on the town. But, Sean’s luck did not hold for long. More cut backs at his job eliminated his overtime hours, so he started looking for another job. He began to worry.

Jackie found a final notice on a balloon payment that Sean had kept hidden. The balance was due and she believed that she had no other choice, other than to pay it. There was no doubt in her mind that Sean would become suspicious, but there was nothing else to do.

When Sean goes to tries to workout deal for the final notices, he is informed that the bills had been paid in full by Jackie. He sees that she is pretending as if nothing is wrong, and decides to cure his suspicions on his own. He snoops and spies on her, but acts if though he is none the wiser.

Jackie believes she has no worries, because she only turned tricks when Sean was at work. Be chance, she spots him as she is leaving out of a motel room with a client. She notices that he is trying to hide. At home, she goes about as normal, but finds him friskier than usual.

After a while, Jackie confronts Sean outside a motel room after he had been spying on her while she does her tricks. Sean confesses that he enjoyed watching her, since he had been laid off.

Sean finally lands another good job, and Jackie stop turning tricks. Jackie realizes that Sean liked watching her turn tricks, so she continued for his excitement.

Do anyone have anything that might spice this up a bit?
