I think I'm having a third outbreak of HSV-2. On top of that I also am trying to get over a second yeast infection. My last outbreak was three weeks ago. My immune system's been adjusting to a lot of medicine. I also get to start a new form of BC pills in about a week. Argh. I can't call Planned Parenthood, and am not sure what dosage to take. I assume two pills a day for five or six days. But I'll call and ask on Monday.

I'm sorry you're having a rough time. You are smart to wait to take anything until you get the right information.

Well I've already taken two Valtrex, though I have not called to speak to a nurse, as their phone lines are not answered by a real person until 7 am. Third outbreak in less than two months since diagnosis. Recurrences are frustrating. I'd better ask if I can get my RX switched to a daily. I know I have enough medicine for two more outbreaks; unfortunately it'll be down to one soon.
