Yeah, WE"RE off to Melbourne on the 13th for a week. Someone *points at KayJay* bought us tickets for my birthday last month. Going to see some of the 'whanau' and do a little job hunting (maybe).

Should be fun, for someone who's never been out of NZ yet (Me).
Looking forward to it, a lot. Need a holiday, after the last couple of months of work and stuff.
 
Draco, are you still on about those damn tickets ! Shut up and enjoy the holiday. ;) I love ya, and you NEED a holiday. You work too hard, and worry too fuckin' much. (Excuse my language, but I've lived thru whats been happening here for the last 3 months, and HE NEEDS A BREAK.)

Cool, we'll be staying with some relly's of mine in Dandenong. Haven't seen them for a few years, so it'll be fun. Gotta check out the IT industry while we're there, thinking about moving over there for a while. New beginnings etc.
 
Sounds great! I've never been there but will be catching up with a few friends.
I'm going on my own so I'll be able to go anywhere I want and stay up 'way late' - which means actually seeing some nightlife! And I can sleep in, too! Yay! :D
 
Well, if I play it right, I can 'write off' the costs thru the business, if I can connect it somehow to work. The joys of self-employment.
Plus, I've got an 'X-Wife from hell' here, who is making our lives a misery, so a new start for us would be a blessing.
 
Yep, going to run away for a week, and see if we can escape the "BITCH".

I've been there twice, you guys are going to love it. Its a great city. I wouldn't mind living there. *HINT HINT Draco*

Gotta find jobs there first Hun, then get the "other" stuff sorted here. Then we can look at that. I dont wanna leave NZ if I really have to. T H and Kiwiwolf have both tried to convince us to move up Auckland way, which is also in the plans.

We'll get some time for partying, but the focus is on JOBS. KayJay works in Retail Sales, and I'm a Computer Tech, so it shouldn't be too hard to find something suitable. Then theres finding a place to live, etc etc. Always something to organise, isn't there?
 
My mum has a brother over there as well, so we'll catch up with Uncle D***, I'm sure he'll show us the sights, he's a "party animal"

Oh Draco, RELAX and stop being so practical. Live a little. ;)
 
Wow! It would be a big move thats for sure! But a change of scenery works bloody miracles! :)
I've been back & forth from Oz a few times and still dont know where I want to be! LOL!
It'll be a while before I get to move house again...... I just have to settle for changing the furniture around! :D
 
We'll see what its like first, then we'll head up to Auckland for a week or so, and see whats what up there, then make a decision. I know that getting away from CHCH has got to be done. Gotta get out from the EVIL HARPY'S influence. LOL

Seriously, we're redecorating the girls bedroom here. ;)
