Pretty laid back really.... Fire is roaring now and I can hear the league on in the next room....

Damn I must be getting old.... I'm quite happy to be home Saturday night and not out on the town night clubing.....

Got all your painting done yet? Hey if you want a working holiday you can come paint my kitchen, lounge and dinning room. :D
 
Got the boys room finished except for the "touch ups".

A working holiday? I'm trying to get it all cleaned up before next saturday, before we jet off for a week.

Painting our room tomorrow, all going well.
*Groan* I have to move all my PC shit out of the room, I have no idea where the hell I'm gonna put it. :( It's only for the day, but still. Good job we have a double-garage, I'll have to kick the cars out onto the street for the day.

But, then, its all finished. I Hope, or the girls will find more work for me to do. They're 'GOOD' like that

I think that's why we havn't painted ours for so long, it's the thought of moving everything :rolleyes:

Happy Fathers Day, NZ.

A tinge of sadness about today. My Dad passed away nearly 13 yrs ago. I miss him so much. He was one of lifes true gents, never a harsh word for anyone. Miss you Dad.
I guess I'm lucky really, to have such a good Dad, and to know him. KayJay has never known her father at all, he split the moment her Mum found out she was pregnant.

Anyhow, to all the kiwi Dads out there. Put your feet up, relax, crack open a bottle of something, and ENJOY YOUR DAY.

Fathers day I get to slave after Mr Oughts. The least I can do for all the work hours he puts in and for what a great dad he is.

We got him a PS2 Rally driving game and a joke book.

Have not rung my father yet, he lives just around the road but he was not a good father growing up so I leave ringing him to the last minute... Mr Oughts Dad, well he is travelling around NZ some where in his bus, so will catch up with him when he appears....

My son just split coke on my mouse so had to go buy a new one. thank goodness for DSE being open on a Sunday. :)

Got one lousy stinking TXT message at 10am this morning, wishing me Happy Fathas Day, from my eldest girl. And thats been it. :mad:

Been painting and rearranging all day, only just discovered we did have a bed in the room after all, and finally got the PC's (2) rigged up again. :)

Gotta have my puters going. Its an essential.
Hope you all had a better Dad's day than me.

KayJay says she's gonna make it all better later. ;)
 
Hi all. I'm pooped, I've spent all day wielding a paint roller, and avoiding a maniac with a paint brush. I swear the fumes got to him. :) The room looks great, its a bright sunny yellow on two walls, and a pale lemon yellow on the other two. It gives the room a "cheery air" about it. I think we did pretty well, for amatuers. ;)

I'm going to drag my man off for a shower, and then take him to bed to show my appreciation for all the hard work he's done this weekend. He's a bit bummed out about not hearing from both his girls today. :mad: I'm a little bit pissed off with the youngest girl myself. I thought she would have gotten over her 'tizzy' by now. She's just like her asshole mother
