this Kiwi is at the tale end of a boring wet (as in weather!) Sunday.

On behalf of the little wookie thanks for all the well wishes..

He came home today(sunday) about mid day and apart from being a little bit weak , wobbly and tired is on the mend.He is very happy to be back in his own house in his own bed again.Also his own little personality is shining through again(its quite unnerving when they just lay there hardly moving or talking).He still needs up to five days away from daycare just to be safe but at least thats the first big scare (as a daddy) for me out of the way,i'm sure there will be a lot more.LMN is also very happy to be home and in her own bed again too( most likely snoring her butt off even as I type this)

Wasn't around here much Sunday, took the kids to the movies and KW and his little one came with us. Sunday evening was just relaxing infront of sky and listening to the KW and Mr Oughts banter....

Jeez, I leave the country for one week, and the thread goes to wrack & ruin.

Well, Melbourne is great, but its weather SUX. If I wanted clouds, I'd have stayed at home. Haven't done a lot. Shopping, Shopping and some more Shopping. KayJay is having a ball with all the stores, I'm gonna need a second mortgage when we get home. Been eating too much, drinking too much. Hell, we bowled my duty-free bottle of Absolut on the first night. . And her bottle took a hammering as well. Spending WAY too much. But, having a great time. Wouldn't wanna live here but...too many goddamn awful aussie accents. LOL

Wookie, glad to hear the Jnr is home again and well.

Has anyone got a cure for that god-awful Aussie accent?
Even my KIWI cousins have it.

Now, if we all pray to the weather gods, Draco will get his blatt around Melbourne on his cousins Ducati Paso 906. I've been out on his Harley today, but the Paso is his baby and only lets HER out on FINE days.

Hey Holiday makers glad to hear the shoping is treating you well. I saw the weather map on Sunday for Melbourne and it said cloudy and 17 so I thought of Christchurch weather straight away.

As for the accents sorry dude you will not get away from them, better head for the North Island.

For those who noticed her absence, I got a phone call from Vivacia today. Seems she's having trouble getting online. Some issues with her modem and her ISP and some such thing. She's not dead, merely going mad from her inability to get online. Not too sure how long it'll be, but she's missing everyone like crazy.

Hi All,

Just a quick update on the Lil Wookie.... he seems to be coming back to his usual cheeky self - despite losing 2kg in one week with his illness.... he is certainly eating to make up for lost time with lots of 2 min noodles and home cooking.

He had 2 days at daycare this week and seems to be happy to be back into his routine. Scary few days though.... and boy was it hot in that hospital.... anyways hopefully he will regain all his lost weight in the next couple of weeks and be his usual chubby bubby self soon!!

As for me... lots of sleep to catch up on (although catching up on last Friday night's drinks that I missed)

Hope everyone else is well....... and GO THE WARRIORS!!!!!

Glad to hear the little one is getting better, always a worry when they are not. I have been lucky as far as hospitals and the kids, no major things.

I must sincker when I see them holding out the warrior tickets for free.... yep, then you have to pay $600 for the flight to watch them... I wonder how many of the tickets actually get used???
