I always get family to bring me back a box of Pocket Edition with them. It's good when you are the only smoker in the extended family... they don't want to buy any for themselves.

After a wet start, its another glorious sunny day in Paradise.

KayJay's first day back at work after two weeks holidays, she was SO not looking forward to going. Kept mentioning words like, sick, headache, my grandma died, etc. LOL

A friend of mine actually did that a couple of years ago. She got a great new job but had booked a holiday for 2 weeks in the USA a few months before hand. She knew that they would not give her the job if she said that within 2 months time she wanted 2 weeks off.

So the day before she was due to leave for the states she rang her work and told them that her father that lived in the USA had died and she had to go over for the furneral and sort the family there.... it worked!!

Her father had actually dies 15 years before hand and she knew he would have had a cuckle at what she had done....



Rain has gone.... the sun is out, hope your first day back was a good one KJM.

HAHA. Funny story. She comes home for lunch, (like normal) and after lunch, she's gets back into the car, looks me in the eye and says in her ever-so-sweet voice.

"Do I really, really have to go back? Can you ring in sick for me?"

Me thinks the little lady is still in holiday mode. Maybe spending most of yesterday in a hot-tub at Hamner Springs had something to do with that.

NOW, that is a DAMN FINE IDEA. Shame the private hot-tub we hire out only fits two comfortably, or 3 at a squeeze. Not that I'm allowed squeeze any other body in there.

And so then I cant sleep.... and Im on autopilot and seem to just keep getting up and pouring another drink.......and I dont really know what Im doing - I get all talkative and walk around in circles... is hyperactivity really a word?? and I just dont know when to shut up or put the cork back in the bottle...... it just goes on and on and on........ freaky really.
But Im fine now......... really........ Im doing good.... really

I might go do some dishes...........
