I lived it in Spain and found it sympatico with my sentiments. People fared better and had more liberties than we have here. What you couldn't do was perform your shit on the street. You did it at home or at a designated place for it. The cops kept the designated playgrounds safe for the players, and the streets safe for horses, kids, and old people. Its when I embraced fascism.
