I.M.Fauve Gallery here and/or there

Iā€™ve submitted some drawings but theyā€™re SO slow to be published. Thatā€™s why I started the Sky thread. Iā€™ve had a drawing waiting for publication for about six weeks now. Itā€™s just hanging there. Anyway, I just want to say how happy it makes me to see ā€œhand-madeā€ā€™art! (I count mine as hand-made because it often starts with a pencil sketch. I take a photo of it, put it on my phoneā€™s art app, and draw and color from there.) ā€œHand-madeā€ to me means your finger draws the marks on a blank screen using the assortment of tools in the art app, or else your hand holds the implement(s) that make the marks on a paper-like surface. Disposable surface, call it. Since Iā€™ll be getting a tablet with a drawing app someday, Iā€™ll still consider my work hand-made because it wonā€™t be something done to a photo or generated with AI.
Iā€™m not putting those techniques down. Iā€™m simply saying ā€œYay!ā€ for the old-fashioned way.

@THROBBS

@THROBBS please post some new material. Iā€™ll come over and view it. You come over to A Sky Colored Cock to see my daily offerings, and weā€™ll pump more life into this Visual Arts Corner, one drawing at a time. Thereā€™s room for every type of creation (within the stated guidelines, of course) in this universe of a website. Youā€™ve got your space, letā€™s see

I will be happy to see them

83k people have viewed your thread. If you bring up the full screen that lists all of the Visual Arts Corner threads on your computer, the viewer count is on the right. I hope that makes you feel better.

I can assure Throbbs that many of us value his line drawing way, way above the other stuff trotted out on here. True talent. I have one reservation about the line he has followed historically but this is not the place to mention it.

Since there has been some movement up front I have been adding more images there.
Not "new" per se (as they have been posted here before).
Up front, like here, has been polluted with poor CGI and A.I. generated imagery, luckily there are a handful of folk sharing real/creative work.

I finally had a wonderful inspiration!
Sweetness can give energy and "just a spoonful of honey" can give some sexual energy!

It's up to you to decide the source of the "honey".

This one was not as spontaneous as most of the images that I post here.
I used some previous photos that I had taken plus some (of the spoon) taken just the other day specifically for this image.
I could have done a quicky, but I wanted to catch a bit more of the light & shadow and contrast of hard & soft, wet & metal...
not slavishly, but to this degree.

Obviously, I'd have loved to stage the entire scene to photograph and draw from life. Maybe some day.
I'd probably draw a bit more of the thighs and ass along with some tan lines...

(always love when adding an attachment and there is the choice to "INSERT". heh heh. I am so juvenile)

A couple of the reference shots used.

If anyone else has come up with this concept for a drawing before Iā€™d be very surprised!
What you need to do, though, is add the artistā€™s reflection in the spoon. Maybe Iā€™ll dig out my old college drawing class self-portrait where I drew myself reflected in an aluminum coffee pot!

Oh, I wouldn't be so sure. It seems most everything has been done.

Indeed. That would be better, but I kinda rushed the new reference shots (see previous post amendment)

I'd love to see your aluminum coffee pot drawing.

How to post it? Where?

If you don't have it digitally, then you'll have to either scan it or take a digital photo and then upload. Could upload directly to a post here (and everyone can see) or to a host site and then provide a link either for eveyone or in private, if you'd like to keep it that way. I can walk you through the process if you want to pursue it.
I found it, in record time, and took a photo of it. All of the stuff I post is photos of my work, much of which I actually create in my phone. So the photo should ā€œshowā€ā€¦. If I post it as a reply in this thread of yours would that be allowed? I think people would be less likely to connect the dots from sky to here?

Oh yes, of course this is all being discussed out here in the town square so who gives a flying eff, huh?

My most recent submission was published today "up front".

(Thought it has been on this thread in the past.)

Also have the 2nd series of "A Room With a View" submitted and pending.
I'll need to get on that with more drawings.... eventually.

1st in the 2nd series has posted.
the 2nd (and... partner pic) ar epending
as are three of a different series: "loving cup"

Heading to Italy for three weeks on Christmas day, so... coming soon, I'll drop out of sight.
